Years from now you know what people will remember about ROTY?

They'll remember the winners. Period.

When the winners become big seniors in the future, people will praise them for all their hard work over the years, including ROTY. Winning ROTY will be part of their history. Their career journey. Their legacy.

New Kpop fans of the future are not going to care about a disbanded group that was rigged due the faults of the people above them.

I get it, some of y'all are upset. It hurts. However there's is nothing that can be done. The industry, the public and many in the Kpop community have accepted.

All this fighting is honestly useless. The quicker some of y'all get that, the easier it will be to move on.

Anyways, I suspect after this year award shows and with time, things will get easier for y'all eventually. No more stressing about things out of your control.

The Kpop industry is a constantly moving. It doesn't slow down for anyone one.

There are new groups debuting every second. Fighting!

tbh I don't care , TXT inherited BTS haters so  it was expected .

it's not like TXT is some nugu that achieved nothing  this year . They also deserved it 

X1 better lay low for the moment in case they won't disband. I don't know why their fans think that their winning the award would be something good to them. They will get more hate. 

Instead of dragging TXT, go and drag mnet and the companies that cheated and ruined the dreams of young people

The only hard fact to swallow over here seems to be that TXT got an award that they absolutely didn't deserve based on the criteria and that's that on that. It's sad that they can only win thanks to their seniors and the controversies of another group.

Wanna One after disbandment hasn't been forgotten and has continuously been talked about so the tea you tried to serve is very stale.

Ofc not. But unlike the 80 other acts, they're on an indefinite hiatus for the same reason they're disqualified from this year's nominations. Do you actually think they'd win if they attended?

Look at this issue from a korean standpoint, no award ceremony would risk their reputation over awarding a group that's surrounded in controversies, the public would eat them alive. How do you expect a group that made its debut based on fraudulent voting to give an acceptance speech on the stage? Do you not realize that winning an award would arise even more outrage? And hating on TXT isn't the answer, there are very slim chances for X1 to receive an award this year, which is probably the best for their mental health.

Disqualified my ass, if that was the case they wouldn’t have gotten nominated or been promoted for the show in the first place

Yeah I agree their nomination should have been removed from the site if they decided they wanted to avoid backlash and not award them. But they also weren't removed from MAMA's list, and I highly doubt they're gonna win there either, regardless of whether TXT or AB6IX attend and they don't.

Not only MMA, X1 probably won't get any rookies awards at MAMA, GDA, SMA and more so save your energy for those complaints later too I guess.
