Congrats for buying a scam lol 😂😂😂😂

I would never pay 100M for something that was bought for 19k

That's not a scam, that's how the art market works. Some art works were considered as non-worthy at all when they were created but now they are well-known masterpieces and their price increased 1000%. One of the best examples - impressionist paintings. The painting of Monet that was sold for 25 francs in 1876 was re-sold for 25000 in 1903, and now it costs millions.

Lmao never got the hype for abstract painting either. Wouldn't buy any Newman or Rothko if i had the money. Basquiat is hit or misses.

there are  nice ones, I can't deny that, that suck you in but overall, I prefer simplicity and beauty  over complexity

plus, old paintings teach us how old people used to live, their landscape, fashion. I mean you can even conclude racist/Marxist ideas in some  paintings (for example how they portray rich people vs poor people  or people of color). You can learn a lot

It's an abstract minimalist painting of 20th century that became classical already. No need to love it but you need to understand the meaning behind it to judge :)

P.S. Also Monet is an impressionist, not expressionist.
