Bouguereau’s “Bohemian” Sells Below Expected Price: Its presale estimate was $700,000 to $900,000 (source) an this was only sold for 2M! (compared to the  modern art atrocities that I just shared in other threads, the price is ridiculous) This French painter ( William Adolphe Bouguereau) has  stunning paintings. They are so beautiful

 

 

 

 

  

 

 

For me , this kind of painting is priceless. Not only it's fucking beautiful but also reflects the kind of live/clothes etc  of its respective era but we live in a sad world
