Notes on others: Toriko - Chapter 30 or something but I can't be bothered to continue reading consistently. Tegami Bachi - I remember reading it quite deeply into the series and stopping years ago - will probably pick it up again when I'm bothered. Assassination Classroom - I remember reading the first few chapters, ditto. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Opinions on the manga, right now: Naruto - what a fucking mess of an ending but I sort of want it to continue dragging for sentimental reasons and since it's already a mess. Bleach - This arc is interesting but Kubo's notoriously horrible storytelling still shines brightly. Every chapter's filled with stalling - scenes of silence, character's having unecessary dialogue, i.e: "What do you mean?", "What are you talking about?". If you'd shut the fuck up they'll tell you. Sternritters are too overpowered - That "Fear" dude, the imagination kid and the tranny basically would've had 1HKO abillities, if they weren't cocky. OP - no one can shun the Oda. SnS - Art's nice, funny, interesting - it's very vibrant and lively. However, the story seems to be moving too quickly and the plot in general isn't very coherent holistically and there's not much depth to it but I think it's meant to be an easy, fun read. Claymore - I like Claymore but there's something about it that I can't seem to like. Perhaps it's how "scientific" and "un - magical" everything seems to be, especially after the whole "War experiment" reveal. I wonder if they're going to continue the story outside of the island or if it's going to be a "venture off into the unkown" type of finale with them sailing off into the distance or something. SnS is worth checking out assuming you can handle the amount of ecchi. New series looks good. The one-shot seemed like a retread of the first chapter of One Piece but from what I understand this first chapter substantially fixes that problem.
