Police have raided six agencies suspected of manipulating ranking on 'Produce X 101.'

MBC's "News Desk," which aired on Wednesday, reported that police raided six agencies related to the ranking rigging scandal.

PD Ahn Joon-young admitted that he manipulated the rankings of the third and fourth seasons of 'Produce X 101' and police believe he conducted the manipulations after receiving the results of the real-time text vote.  News Desk released an interview with an official of a text-voting company who said, "The production team usually sends those responsible for the real-time text voting and we'll let them know the results of the vote," he said, drawing attention.

Police targeted entertainment agencies that were involved in the ranking manipulation and so far, six agencies have been raided by police with at least three of them related to 'PD X'.

Police have booked six key officials from these agencies as suspects and have completed the relevant questioning. The officials are being charged with violating the Prohibition of Unauthorized Solicitation and violating the Kim Young Ran Act for providing entertainment bribes to Ahn PD and other officials. Police are also reviewing charges of breach of trust because the entertainment agency officials played a key role in virtually soliciting rankings among idol trainees and producers.

Police are currently trying to figure out when and how the crimes were committed and will forward the case to prosecution tomorrow.

In the meantime, police are also investigating allegations of manipulation on another Mnet audition program 'Idol School.'

The fact that people had to pay to vote makes it a scam. But really, the most cruel crime is how they toyed with the contestants.

Imagine how terrible it is. What upsets me the most are those shitty coaches they had. How could they live with humiliating young people like that by comparing them to people who already knew the dance or the song. Terrible people all around.

However, some fans realised that the difference in the number of votes received from the first to the 20th place is constant. 

Kim Woo-seok, who took second place, recorded 1.3 million 4033 votes. Kim Yo-Han, who is in the top spot, has a difference of 20,978 votes. Song Hyung-joon, who is in fourth place, and Han Seung-woo, who is in third place, are also at 29,998. The table difference of 7th, 6th, 8th, 7th, 11th and 10th is also 20,978. It happened five times in the same way that is too strange to be called a coincidence. In other ranks, the same difference number is repeated twice. 

As the speculation continued, other netizens realised that there were also more rankings between 1st to 19th that tallied to the same number.

Of course, I just wasn't expecting Idol School to ever get investigated. I was one of like 4 people who actually watched part of it lol

I initially thought the final lineup was kind meh but I ended up liking fromis. It's gonna get real awkward if IS is found to have been rigged just as heavily.

Idol school is quite fishy, i would not surprise if they founded rigged too

First couple of episode they seems push natty alot from screen time, rank, vocal, dance after that she pretty much dissapear

Haein case is quite same as gaeun in pd48 consistent in top rank then she dropped at last episode

the korean police has the time to do raids of 6 different agencies but couldn’t do it fast enough for YGE.
