Before Sulli passed away, there were rumors that she and Heechul were dating. Just weeks before she died, Heechul admitted that they were texting each other. On November 6, the Super Junior member, had a live broadcast and fans quickly spotted Sulli's cat in the background. 

The video was uploaded by a fan on Twitter and it has since spread on various social networking sites. In the video, Heechul can be seen sitting in front of a computer when a Sphynx, a cat breed whose similar to Sulli's, appeared. 

Heechul's viewers and Sulli's fans instantly expressed how heartwarming the singer's actions were. To adopt Sulli's cat meant that the singer deeply cared for Sulli and will probably always care for her even after she passed

I've been wondering about Sulli's cat and it's just so sweet of Heechul to do that. I'm relieved someone like him is taking care of the kitty.

(All of this is assuming that is indeed Sulli's cat)

it's pretty rare for someone to pick this kind of... cats as their pets

so either it's hers or he adopted a new cat of the same breed she used to have, so it's cute either ways

He won't confirm nor deny. Usually he denies stuff like this but his fans are guessing so since he's keeping it a secret. He won't talk about it so we may never know.

This breed costs a lot of money in the pet shop - generally you would not find such breed in the shelter. Heechul is particularly vocal about adopting in recent years. Heechul's fans (and ELF in general) are quite familiar with his pets  - this cat is a new addition.

But it could be just a coincidence. I don't think he would ever confirm the answer though.
