Who would dare to give the award if the public is going to discredit them as an illegitimate group (already publicly implicated by the admission of vote manipulation).

That means some of members got in through criminal means, not via legitimate competition and votes.

If the investigation reveal more dirt, some members of X1 or IZONE, if found guilty or complicit, might even be arrested and charged.
