‘Produce X’ PD Ahn Joon Young, traces of rigging, favors + destruction of evidence -> arrested… X1 at risk

What will happen to X1 after PD Ahn Jun Young’s arrest?

original post: naver

1. [+4899, -296] X1 is not the only group at riskㅋㅋ How dare you leave out IZ*ONE?

2. [+3127, -162] What about IZ*ONE??? They’ve been selling a lot of albums for their comeback right now. Are they going to be buried? I’m sure the kids who were eliminated due to all the rigging going on are still crying over their loss

3. [+3324 -462] Let’s disband X1 and all members need to be kicked out of the entertainment industry. If they knew about the contest and were given preferential treatment, they were all accomplices. There’s no reason to put them into the entertainment industry.

4. [+2360, -49] At least you have to kick out the members who received perks

5. [+1653, -32] We should start investigating everything from season 1 so as not to cause injustice

6. [+401, -75] Kim Sohye is the most suspicious of all seasons

7. [+320, -6] To be honest, season 1234 must be clearly investigated. It’s the same PD Ahn Joon Young. It’s a reasonable doubt.

8. [+272, -15] If you’re not going to kick out the members who received perks, just disband the whole group;

alot of things need to be said here

why hating on the kids when they were just dolls big heads playing with them and their dream of debuting when you are out there ignoring a WHOLE MNET AND KPOP AGENCIES getting out of it just because a PD and one other staff gettinh arrested........

Some people out there really using the chance to throw shit on them..... just leave the kids alone

if you want justice go support the other trainees who were unfairly treated and focus on them to give them the spotlight me and you think they deserved but no people love drama and like whats happening

it's just disappointing seeing people throwing the blame and hate on the wrong people

While I get blind hate ain't gonna get anyone anywhere, you have to admit there's some fault the idols themselves had when things like this happen:

I don't want to be biased as I said I have one of my top picks rigged out and one rigged in

but if you watched the PDnote they aired in October you'll know more than just this

trainees knowing or not is way more complicated than just knowing the lyrics and songs before hand

didn't you hear them talking about how much they were dragged by their agencies and treated badly. they even threatened them if they made any mistakes here and there

at the end they're tied with contracts with their agencies.I don't want to assume things but we don't know how things going for them

you really don't want to blame 16 year old kids when the're whole adults there getting away with all this shit doing shit more than those kids running for their dreams

Disbanded them. They can regroup with new name and new and better contract later since they have fanbase already.

And well, not gonna happen anyway..so cheer up fans...they prefer remain with the slave contract

Whether the trainees were aware or not, whether they went along willingly or not, end of the day they are not in a position of power. They may have fault for going along with it, but I don't actually blame them. Do you expect them to call out the CEOs of their company, the PD of the show, CJ ent and Mnet? Consequences potentially being kicked out of their company and zero chance of ever debuting? Go along with the deal, risk chance of scandal if you're caught. Don't go along with the deal, piss off your bosses and kiss any possibility of debuting goodbye. They are in a terrible position.

I doubt very many of us, if any at all, would have the courage or the power to speak out.

I'm speaking from the position of a super stan of a trainee rigged from 6th position to 12th position on the China produce series. It wasn't just text message fees that was stolen from fans, but millions in USD of additional fan crowdfunded money purely for extra voting power. Blame the people in power, all the trainees are just pawns whether the rigging was in their favor or against their favor.

They will live with regrets the rest of their life for being apart of the cheating and sabotaging, and I think that will be enough for them.

What needs to be done is compensation for the individual affected and revelation of the real ranking so the public can make their own judgement.Sakura definitely gotten first place in the final announcement, and her compensation should be a permanent replacement as the center, this is kind enough considering she was rigged out of the exposure for 1 year now with only some time left in their contract.

I'm curious as to what was the motive behind the rigging tbh 😕 I thought the concept of P48 was nice, and the show still successful? (maybe not as much as season 1 but I haven't watched that one ><)

Easy. Money. Specifically not wanting to put a million dollar investment into the hands of fanboys who know nothing about how to put together a successful music group. It’s that reason I’ve always thought these shows were “softly rigged” with evil and angel edits. They create the right conditions for the people they want to win. What Mnet did was take it to the next, criminal level by predetermining lineup with agencies for perks. Ultimately they ripped off the fans and perpetrated a Quiz Show level scam on its viewers. They need to be sued by the trainees for monetary damages. I would suspect a class action suit is incoming on behalf of ripped off fans. They will sacrifice X1 and Izone to give themselves as much cover from liability as possible but they are going to pay eventually.

The big hope is that none of the members or trainees were involved. The public will crucify them and it will follow them into whatever group they intend to debut with in the future.

Some of the trainees did cheat. They knew and were able to practice and perfect songs before other trainees even knew what the songs were, and get praise for being so young and talented.

Do you know them personally for you to be sure that they're completely innocent and not knowing all these beforehand? I mean some of them knew the choreo and lyrics first before other participants, that's cheating and obviously they're also complicits in this.
