Just because the suspect "denied manipulating" certain things does not make him innocent.

Only due investigation and judges' verdict can acquit him of such charges.

The pain is now directly on the groups from all these survival programs. Who had been dealing under the table? Who was offered free rides? Who should disqualify themselves from the "manipulated" lineups?

It has already affected their reputation and X1 is banned from most TV channels (they only have appeared on CJ-owned ones since their debut). Contractually this doesn't need to have any direct effect, after the show the winners signed contracts with Off The Record / Swing that were completely distinct from the trainee contracts they had during the show.

Financially it's not exactly in CJ's best interest to remove anyone from the groups, X1 in particular has a really big fandom and removing 'rigged' members from the group would only diminish their revenue.

First place was rigged. It is just extremely unlikely that someone drops to 8th place 4 weeks out for several episodes, then suddenly in the last episode comes first.

I understand that this is not an issue to take lightly as there are trainees that were unfairly excluded from the lineup and had their big chance of fame snatched away just like that. But as a fan of IZ*ONE and X1, heck I don't even like all the members but that's besides the point, I'm upset that both groups are experiencing a big obstacle right now with their schedules and comeback being cancelled left and right. It may be selfish and unreasonable of me but I really hope that this is just momentary and that they'll be back to continue their rising trajectory in no time.
