Rise of Skywalker

Is there anyone here who is looking forward to the latest Star Wars movie? If so, have you already gotten your tickets and have you been keeping up with what's been happening with the movies? I just hope that one of my favorite character stays alive.

Me too! I think it's going to be bittersweet because it's going to end the Skywalker saga. I'm really going to miss the Skywalker family and all of the other characters.

I know right? I loved the Last Jedi, but they made it seem like it was the worst movie ever. They did the same thing with the prequels. It gets annoying fast. I bet they'll be the first ones in line to see it. I remember when the prequels and the originals were coming out on blu ray. Since people complained about the prequels I said that I would wait to buy them since they'll still be on the shelves. As soon as I went to buy them they were all sold out. However, the originals were still on the shelves.

Yep. Do you think Kylo will be redeemed? I think he will be since they're bring back Palpatine and the Sith.

Those were really good! I enjoyed the Last Jedi the most. If you can, you should see the Force Awakens and Revenge of the Sith as well.

I think you're right, but I don't want him to die. He should be exiled or at least be required to fix the damage he created. Having him die would be too much like Return of the Jedi. Plus I can't stand to see the Skywalker blood line end on a sad note.

I want to know what happens to my Skywalkers. I'm still a little on the disappointed side that they brought back Palpatine. Hopefully Anakin will come back too. Did you see Rogue One?

Yeah i saw Rogue one. I was positively surprised by it. My attitude was like "oh another movie to suck fans dry off money" but it was actually good. And the ending blew me away. That was really surprising

 

I was amazed by it. I wasn't expecting that at all. I could feel the terror in the room.

I enjoyed the originals as well, but my favorite one is Revenge of the Sith. I think George Lucas should've had better writers for the prequels, but overall I enjoyed them. I agree, it is funny seeing the fanboys and girls getting all upset over the movies.

I felt that the characters where able to grow in TLJ and I want to see that continue. I'm nervous because JJ Abrams weakness is character development, imo. He's really good at action scenes and special effects though.

TLJ developed the characters a lot. I just have issues with how he did Luke, but overall I enjoyed it. I'm nervous too. I just hope JJ Abrams does justice to the movie since it's going to end the Skywalker saga.

It makes for such a good theater-going experience. TLJ was also beautiful. The red sand and Leia moment? Loved seeing that on the big screen.

 

Same. The new trailer was visually pleasing and I'm looking forward to seeing how they end the Skywalker story. I also want to know what happens to Finn, Poe, and Rey. I'm planning on watching it the first day it's out.

Yay! I've finally found another Reylo shipper! I think he is going to be redeemed. I just don't want him to die because like you said, it would be too similar to the Return of the Jedi. He may live and be exiled though.
