Positivity Thread <3

Hello, OH users❣️

original-18.jpg

I create this topic to bring some positivity to the forum since I see very negativity around. Not as a way to avoid what is evident about that part of negative feelings and emotions but for bring some light into the dark.

I would like that all of us expressed herself/himself with quotes, images, gifs, music videos, or any other thing that comes to you. Those inspiring moments, those moments of peace, feeling grateful for what you have and had. Moments or people that when you had it or were around people, made you feel such a comfort and fully living the moment in a very positive and calm way (see it, smell it, feeling the touch, unexplicable feeling of tranquility, senerity and good vibes, etc...)

Post one element per time, so the next time you come into the thread to post something, you can read the past things you published and other users stuff remembering those good moments and feeling better.

Here there is a quote I like:

" When joy is an habit,

love is a reflex. "

Woke up with such a positive mind state. I want to redeem myself from the mean things I've done in my younger years. I was toxic. Now I see how precious people are and just wanna be an angel for everyone.

I just feel so positive and happy

I wrote this to myself a few weeks ago. I then read it again today and decided to post it:

Spoiler

You have such a beautiful face. I hope you come to love who it is that you are. You are not alone. Please remember that it is okay to cry, even if the situation may not be considered appropriate.

I will pray for your happiness. You deserve it. There will always be an answer, so keep at it. Do not give up. There is no fight to be won or lost.

You just need to keep at it. You cannot do everything possibly yourself, even if you have tried. Understand your limitations with respect to others. Stand brave in the face of conflict. Have faith in yourself.

Spoiler

I successfully managed to receive all the prizes on Kinect Carnival Games: Monkey See, Monkey Do! But, I felt more accomplished by the time I had spent in trying to get it and the progress I made along the way. I really enjoyed the games. Persistence and hard work really do pay off~

It's been a while since I stepped into this thread.

Yesterday I made a conscious and deliberate effort to clean rooms in my home. I had repeatedly stated that I wanted to do this but did not do this until now. But since it had been several months since I cleaned, I felt a general clean was enough. I'm usually strict with myself; I generally do this thoroughly. But while I was doing this, I felt comforted and relieved in reminding myself that there was no reason to feel a need to over-exhaust. To realise that it is not a now-or-never situation where I must pressure myself to complete this objective in a set amount of time. In other words, start and not feel that it is not possible to return to complete it at a later time. I have tried to apply and extend this advice among other various challenges faced in my life. For instance, planning for my final study period (in my current program) while managing the stress that occurs directly as a result of reinforced pressures (by others) which relate to job-seeking and in finding relevant work experience.

Some ‘wisdom,’ so to speak, has suggested that,

“In helping you, I would actually be losing. In not helping you, I would be comforted.”

But in choosing to help me, technically, you should be losing. And in that same moment, I should also feel that I am winning. Ironically enough, I feel that I am not.

So, ideally, if we can help each other, even if we feel that we could lose much more, we may actually benefit each other greatly. I assume, then, our collaboration would be more powerful together than if we were to stay alone by solely keeping to our own interests.

Then again, this only applies to positivity, not negativity, which is arguably subjective.

Spoiler

I am slowly coming to realise that there are many reasons to remain grateful for the life that I otherwise have. Sometimes I feel indebted to return what I have received, but I know it may not necessarily be delivered in a timely and respectful way. I can only hope those same people who have shown support will continue to be patient with me.

I have found enough space to experience pleasure; to help bring myself to experience a kinetic sense of energy and peace within myself. I feel content knowing there are people who appreciate my actions, and welcomed by the support I have received.

I went outside to get air and absorb sunshine. I already feel much better physically and mentally; completely energised.

This is beautiful. People here need this more than ever. Pray they will visit this at least once or twice.

That is why I make this content (there is more in my profile).

I would be nice if the Admins or Moderators in some ways could spread this positive threads so more people could be aware of them and feel a bit better when reading the content. ❤️
