Hmm 100 pound is not healthy, espcially the way you are losing it. I'm glad you talked about it to one person about it. I know you it's hard for you to seek help but can't you try visiting a doctor? They ain't allowed to talk with anyone about your problems anayways, you might even ask if your friend would be able to accompany you ,so you wouldn't be alone.

How are you feeling btw do you feel tired or stressed from not eating?

I don't think I'll be able to visit a doctor, for certain reasons. And I do feel tired, but not stressed. Just very tired.
wait apple cider tones the skin? First time hearing it.Hmmm might try it ..though I hate the smell ._.

One of the best toners out there. The PH level is on the level of skin.  :smile:
I lost some weight, but it comes back.I weigh around 120, and I want to be 100. One of my friends know, but she doesn't say anything about it. I'd call the hotline, but I'm sure someone in my house may hear me, for I do not live alone.
May I ask your height?

Cause child!   :donthinkso:

Lol... i used to think that when i was younger haha (much younger) if my period was late for a couple days. :derp:

That's why i'm worried, cuz im 17

Nah, actually im on spring break rn

Thank you, you helped put my mind at ease :)

I haven't lost any weight (thank god)... I'll keep that in mind. Thank you! :)

I'm 21 and my period is still very irregular... When I was 16 it could skip like 6 months but now I usually have cycles that range from 31 to 39 days, with some odd ones lasting like 25 if I ever skip a month due to intense stress.

Hi there~ I'm not sure if it's the right topic but I'm glad I've founded something like health & fitness here because I have some questions and I have no one to answer them. I want to start regular fitness exercices focusing on butt, thighs and belly but my problem is that I have injured knee (some kind of inflammation of the knee but doctors are not sure cause symptoms are unique) and I can't do a lot of exercices because of that. But I would really like to reduce fat on these parts. So my question is: Do you know any fitness exercice that doesn't require power of the knee? Now I only do crunches but it's just one exercice and only for high part of belly.. I can't even run because of my knee. So it have to be fitness.

:._.:

I have 157 cm and 58 kg.

I realized since going abroad that I eat very little

I counted my calories for the first time in 2 months today and I ate not even 850 calories.... and I'm not hungry

The thing is, I feel like I ate so much I am actually nauseous and I don't think I could eat anything more... besides like tea

I ate a lot today but not because I was hungry nor cuz I felt like it

Actually my stomach hurt and I felt nauseous most of the day again, but I blame it on the total of 6 hours of sleep I got in 3 full days...

Then I craved for something really salty but everything in Korea is fucking sweet so I'm still nauseous.

Hmm so it might be that you're simply not comfortbale with the food in Korea?

It might help if you would somehow be able to cook food you're used to or food you actually like ...I remember when I was abroad for awhile (mind you it was only for a short while) I wasn't able to eat much either because I simply wasn't used to the things served and I didn't like most either.

So since I couldn't look forward to dinner or anything food related really I got used to not really want food?

Though maybe it's like you said the lack of sleep.

I still am! Thank you!

Good :)
Since you can't do heavy fitness training, I suggest you to do;

1. sit-up for the belly part. But for it to be effective you need to have several sessions during a day. You can start with doing 10 sit-ups in 3 sessions a day like in the morning, afternoon and evening. After a week, you can increase the number of sit-ups and doing so for the next weeks. There are varieties of doing sit-up that if you would like, I can explain them.

2. for the thighs, Is using treadmil prohabited for your knees?

Actually, swimming is a lot better. Walking in the pool for about 15mins is very good and would improve the muscles around your knees. Light Jogging is also good.

Make sure to moderate your diet while you are doing regular excercices. Heavy dieting has bad side-effects so If you moderate your diet while doing these excercices, you can at least lose several weights without going through too much.

I used treadmil at school but I can only walk (faster or slower). As for now I march for about 1-2 hours per day. And I can't go to swimming pool regularly but I will remember that for the time I will be going there!

I was doing sit-ups in the morning but I didn't know there are different ways of doing them and that I should do them 3 times a day. I would love to know more about the other sit-ups :)

Haha this is exactly my problem.. I'm addicted to wok and stir-fried food. Now I add as much as possible vegetables and drinks to be full quicker so that eventually I eat less fatty food.. But I still do, unfortunately.

Anyway I'm very very very grateful! You're the first person who advised me any exercise, really. Even my PE teacher at high school told me I can't do anything besides exercises for the muscles of the hands. So thank you very very much! :D

Of course you can do other exercises without putting too much pressure on your knees ^^

I guess it's better if I explain it this way;

There are different ways of doing sit-ups and other exercises simliar to that that I can remember right now;

1. to lift up your body straight to reach your knees.

2. to lift up your body to the left or right side like this. (Not fully reaching to the knees on the pic but do it like no. 1)

3. to do sit-ups with dumbbells but in light weights like 1.5 or 3kg

4. this one puts more pressure on your belly muscles but it's good. You can lift your body up and keep the position for 15sec for example. Don't hurt your neck, be careful.

5. you can do light bicycle motions while you are laying down. Of course if it's harmless to your knees.

-----------------

There is no "should do it 3 times in a day" rule. :)

I said 3 times in a day based on an old experience and how effective these sessions were to me so yeah, I think 3 times a day is not too much nor low. It's the duration and the numbers that matter more IMO. Duration is important because you want it to be effective, doing 15 sit-ups in 10mins won't be effective. Based on my own experience, I used to do sit-ups under a minute. First week I did 15 sit-ups for example and then each week I increased the numbers till I got to do 50 sit-ups in a minute after a month. So keep the duration and the numbers in mind when you do sit-up.

Remember when you do exercises, a certain pain is normal to feel. The pain after doing proper exercise means your body is adapting to the process. Always constrict your muscles when doing sit-ups and after you are done, massage your belly for a few moments, don't get up right away.

For thighs, if not treadmils, maybe ergometer is better? As I said light jogging is good. Use knee bandage (that you feel comfotable with) before exercising and always warm your body up before attempting to do any exercises.

----------------------------

A reminder that If you want your efforcts to actually work, pay more attention to what you eat and when you eat it. Eating foods which are boiled >>> fried ones. Eating fruits and low fat dairy products are good for branches. Cut down junk foods, sweets and coke. Have a proper size to eat, don't starve yourself but don't eat to the point you feel like you are so full, you need energy to keep going.

Don't need to really care about how much you are losing or have lost weight by using a scale. After a month or two, you can notice your size has changed.

If you need more advices, you are always welcome to PM me ^^

I'm 165cm / 5'4 :d

45 kgs for 1.65m is way too small for an 18/19 year old girl imo but then again it's not my body.

For diet pills that suppress appetite i only know of Belviq and Qsymia but i think they're a bit strong so you need a prescription for them.

Hydroxycut is one that helps lose weight though, i heard it was pretty effective, and it's without prescription

That's all i know :3
