Criteria for Locking Threads

Yeah some threads are not that harmful to users. I don't think it is trolling at all or bashing but they think it brings fanwars when we have only few users who are all lovely with other. 🐍

If I create any troll threads, watch mods locking it faster than speed of light. 🐍

This post is not meant to offend the Mods 🤧

yeah, if you think your thread was closed prematurely i think we can pm a head mod or ask in the ask a mod thread.

I'm aware you can do that, it just seems counter productive to wait until a thread is locked to find out what the criteria is.

I know it's pretty much prohibited to post twitter drama here that may trigger fanwars

Which I would understand.

I'm talking more about threads being closed because people came in and name called but the content of the post itself was allowed.

If people start to fight in a thread, then Mods also lock it.

But that doesn’t set the precedent that if you don’t like a thread all you need to do is do some name calling and it gets locked.

especially if no one is biting.

junior mods are meant to be overzealous during their probation period.

If something is reported and it does break a rule ( troll, bait, antagonizing, drama from outside the forum, it will cause a fanwar) they have to lock it, even if it does create an interesting discussion. It's just the way it is. I doubt the jr mods like locking everything that's reported either but they're required to do so.

Things will get better in 3 months when their probation ends.

I'm just glad we have fresh users modding
