I like to discuss kpop and update him with the latest news or info him about what kpop is and stuff. So then (since I had the signed copy of But Go) I started to discuss A.Kor with him. I showed him But Go....but he didn't like the mv. The song was good but he thought that the mv shouldn't have so much torture in it but ah well....moving on. So then I came to the Kemy topic. I said that the group is hated so much because of one member. I said she made a diss track about Bom and I discussed what I thought of this whole thing (that I really don't care and stuff) So then I let him listen to it and I forgot to ask him what he thought of it. Then later I asked what he thought of it and he liked it because he liked how she showed attitude and spoke her mind and stuff. He found her flow and voice really good compared to other female idols that he had heard. So he found her the only female idol rapper that was actually good next to Miryo. He loved "I'll Fly" and the diss track so much. Then he commented that he was sad. That she was in a idol group because her talent was kind of wasted or something......I kind of do and don't agree with him though. ALL IN ALL HE LIKES KEMMY AND DOESN'T CARE ABOUT THE DISS TRACK A LOT. He said that as long as Kemy and Bom won't kill each other (not sure what in the world he meant with that but ah well....) he's fine with anything. Lol extreme though but I'm so glad he like Kemy and he's actually right Yeah he said something like. Ones the bosses of west side and east side in america kept dissing each other than eventually they killed each other. Something like that I think.......anyways I'm happy that he understands my way of thinking about kpop and he is always happy to hear my passion for kpop. So I guess I'm lucky he liked Kemy. He was talking about the rivalry between Notorious BIG and 2pac, (and their 2 labels BadBoy Records and Death Row Records)... one of, if not the, most reknown rap beefs ever done. Because of these two the whole East coast/West coast saga in the nineties begun. They made a couple of (now legendary) disses and then both ended up dead: both were shot to death. Long story short, most probably their deaths didn't have to do anything with their beef, but most likely with their dealings with the drug dealers and dropping some of their names in these disses. Regarding the talent part: Kemy is easily top3 in rap talent between girls in kpop. But for rappers the real measuring stick is in the underground scene, not in the mainstream... Oh yes that is the story he told me yesterday. I couldn't really remember the whole story so didn't share. But yeah that's what he told me. OMG GUYS WHAT IF KEMMY WAS IN UNPRETTY RAPSTAR DAMNNNNNNNNNN. SHE WOULD HAVE KILLED. Question: What is your top 3 female idol rappers in no particular order? 1. Miryo, 2. LE and 3. Kemy is amazing no doubt about that but there's more amazing underground rappers than she. If your talking about underground that makes it to mainstream kpop there's still a few that are above Kemy's level. Gilme, L.E, Miryo and more Thanks you so much can't wait to get the badges. I didn't mean talent with the top 3 rappers. I just meant your favorite top 3 idol rappers. Not solo but from idol groups. But yeah there are many rappers that are better than Kemmy. But to forget the underground for now. Since that would be such a list. Let's only base it on idol group rappers. She is one of the better rappers we got in kpop tbh. As for solo's Gilme, E.Via/Tymee, Jessi HO, etc are better. LE and Miryo are also indeed better but they also had more experience. In the end I think Kemmy just needs more years and training to become on their level or rap imo. Gilme is hella awesome. I got even her latest album just because it slayed. Kemy said about EXID, "We went around to military base events and promoted around the same time as EXID and we were very jealous. So they try to appeal more to us. Which is awesome to but sad that they have less k-fans. In the end. If they have fans they are happy (I hope) and if they are international. I usually enjoy his videos and am a huge fan of the man, But that video was torture as a A.KOR fan.. There was only one point I agree other than that they were all just bashing on our baby And the other comments on the video I feel ya I feel ya. I love him and always watch the video's. I just couldn't watch anymore because of the bashing. I didn't even know they called her Kermit.......like what???? Though it does make sense about that she should have dissed someone that could diss her back. That is the only part I agreed on and after that I couldn't bare to hear more. As far as I've seen, A.Kor's album seems to be packaged like EXO's XOXO album. It hurts to not be able to know what I'm getting, but this is A.Kor. I got this along with SNSD's IGAB album. Well you can see it in that one video I posted. The surprise event part and then they give albums away. That's basically how it looks and it's pretty big for just 2 songs and inst. This times, it's taken 1 day to ship, so I'm expecting to wait for 18 more days.
