They legit had a 100k boost from HDD predicted chart sales. Those sales in the last two days have to be shipped somewhere.Their stream is weak as well only 4k  🐍

Doesn't tell us their is US demand. 🤧

The extra sales came from locals who saw the Ellen performance and were impressed luv

how would they feel if we had pulled apart and traced back every sale of Love Yourself the week it was number on billboard, would we be able to trace every copy back to a home in middle america?

this whole thing is so embarrassing just like we said it would be. the whole strategy is getting the negative press it deserves. fans don't want to admit it looks bad but it just does. what is the value of a chart position that represents nothing but how many fans bought tickets and cheap ass merch? its not a "win". its something they did so they could generate positive mediaplay but its backfiring and most of the reactions to them are negative. we all knew this would happen. its not even about the members, its about how terrible sm is being. and i can't imagine any of the members getting a decent paycheck for this. who won?

This thread is crazy... I didn't know there were so many SM company stans.

They are literally using and then throwing your faves under the bus and you're all out here defending the COMPANY'S antics rather than sticking up for your faves.

This is weird as hell to me lmao.

its not that serious luv

we just find the double standard funny

i dont agree with anyone being harassed because billboard did something

bulk buying has bbeen a thing in the music industry for years

and now that superm done it oh so now its problem

its pretty obvi yall wanted them to not reach #1 so bad

and they did so now yall are screaming and crying about the fairness

super m is not being harassed

we're having a discussion about the management and a topic that's currently big in the industry

armys have been discussing this for months. mainly talking about western artists. this isn't only about super m (read the second post of this thread)

"y'all" everything after that is your assumption. so irrelevant.

why did u just assume they're cheating just bcs they had a boost of sales. a lot of things happened during the week, they had fansigns there, and also i have seen a lot of americana nctzens, exols, and shawols started joining the hype and bought more.

the fact that the first thing u did when they had a boost of sales was to accuse them of cheating means you just want to bring them down.

This. Let's not act like people didn''t do a full 180 in terms of attitude towards the group once Jopping was released and impressed everyone

A unit sold is a unit sold.

In times where CDs are on the verge of death, the industry has to come up with "tricks" like this to keep the physical market alive. No one is hindering western artists to do the same. Since when does it matter who bought an album or how many times that person bought it? It's not their money. So they can stfu.

y'all aren't calling anything out

SuperM are billboard number and that's facts luv

there's no debate about it. Case closed, they're number 1 and that's the tea. point period. Swallow that pill, their wikipedia is going to say billboard number one and that's not going to be disputed.
