It's the same for any chart in any country, for example ,if you import BLACKPINK's Japanese album from Amazon Japan it's going to count as a sale on Oricon and not on your local chart. Which makes total sense, no? Suddenly people are acting brand new as if this is something shocking or new.

 

Same with Chinese fans who buy TWICE album from a Korean site that ships internationally, why would an album that hasn't been released in China or sold through a Chinese point of sale count as a sale on a Chinese chart?

The Hanteo and Gaon analogy is so stupid lmaooo. The entire system in SK is set up to benefit from Hallyu and foreign investment.

BB200 has rules about domestic sales because Billboard has charts in various countries including SK. This entire thing is disingenuous at best and fraud at worst.

This isn't any chart...This is one of the, scratch that, the, most coveted chart in the world. This isn't hanteo or amazon cd & vinyls chart or some korean online store. This is a chart made specifically to reflect popular demand in the country, that is why you have different billboard charts. The billboard 200 chart is for the States. When you have a whole ass group coming out with their company hailing American debut and being the kpop avengers, there will be scrutiny. I scrutinized, and I concluded like many others, that this is a scam and that if you want to celebrate this title you self-proclaimed, you should earn it.

They legit had a 100k boost from HDD predicted chart sales. Those sales in the last two days have to be shipped somewhere.Their stream is weak as well only 4k
