Those comments tryna middleground...gtfo. you can't blame people as a reason for someones suicide/depression or other illnesses. Like for me i can tell for myself that being abused physically, until i was well into my teens,  and emotionally..still . Had influence on the things i develop like depression. But for me im just struggling.  I only look down upon someone who hurt me to influence these changes if they don't learn to grow from this behavior and just hide it.

I think i saw somewhere it said that she had panic disorder and social phobia. Which both ive (kinda ) delt w. Panic disorder, for sure.  But i was treated for social phobia when i had avpd bc they don't dx non-adults w pd's but yeA eventually realize i am avpd. Which is similar but different. But what I'm getting at here is this,, upon the hours upon hours i did researching my issues as a teenager, to try to understand what's wrong w me.. when u have these things,  depression can develop easily

This is just to say, its not right to blame on anyone period imo. She had demons that weren't getting help.  Which i can get that,  as someone who is depressed and incredible anxious, esp socially. Its hard to reach for help,  and even when i can get it, its hard to communicate how i want to. You have to have the willpower, and depression can take those motivations. So while i think those comments shouldn't be blame her ex, i think it general the hate comments she got prob hurt but as someone who struggle w this shit its hard for me to say yea every singular person who left a bad comment js to 'blame'. Because ppl are just assholes & need to learn to not be so cruel but putting that on someone can just send another person into spiral when no one deserves that period. 

 

But yea i mean like,  if hes getting hate about it its clear people aren't learning.  Its just upsetting. Shouldn't be blame put on people but a look at every person attitude and  not be so hateful for no reason

But also their break-up happened quite a while ago, and if shitty men didn't keep sexually harassing and criticizing Sulli till her death, I think she would have probably been alive now. (If anything, the dude who kept following her when she was out with friends could be pointed to as a trigger).

Now on why I cannot give Choiza a free pass: Not merely did he date a girl so much younger than him, which itself rings alarm-bells about grooming. For Sulli who came from a home of divorce and had spoken about wanting a mature and dependable partner, it did feel to me he took advantage of her insecurities to date her. He also had no consideration for her reputation in public - writing sexual lyrics about her, being very open about their relationship when it is still such a conservative society. (For contrast, see Lee Minho's relationship with Suzy and how it was conducted on his part). He met and started preying on Sulli when she was barely 16 years old and UNDERAGE. At the time, he was already well over 30 years old. He groomed her.

Maybe they joined kpop after Choiza and Sulli broke up? 

I don't agree with blaming him for her death but Choiza is straight up trash. He acted like he was the victim in the relationship but Sulli was 14 years his junior and probably her first serious relationship.

Edit:  also he seemed to love bringing up sulli wherever and whenever he could while they were dating.

Idgaf. This dude is no better than a predator grooming their victim; meeting her at 15 (he was 29) and waiting until she was of legal age to pounce. I don’t know about you guys but I was around when Choiza and Sulli was a thing. What struck me the most about their relationship was Choiza’s complete lack of regard for Sulli’s personal and professional life. The guy is trash as far as I’m concerned. While I do not agree with people blaming him for Sulli’s death I also don’t think he should get a free pass.
