OP do you have discord? it's probably a better alternative for you, it's definitely more active there than it is there. Each server should be dedicated to a group/fave and it's usually pretty busy depending on the server. I think the majority of K-pop fans are now on stan twitter, as much as I hate that place. (nonetheless it's always still open in my tabs lol) Even though I'm on reddit I never bothered with the k-pop subreddit there until now, and I think at this point at might be even more active than here. So TLDR stan twitter/reddit/discord is my go to place really for kpop really. The most popular online kpop communities will be either stan twitter and youtube.
