[Bluebells and Snowdrops]

I stan A.C.E. They’re my 2nd favorite group, I’ve stanned them almost since their debut. I don’t know the exact reason why I stan them, but I do have some different reasons. They have really good music of many different genres (hardstyle EDM, ballads, pop, rock-inspired, hip-hop-inspired), so there’s something for every mood I’m in. The members are also crazy talented. They are all great dancers, amazing vocalists and some of them are also really good rappers. And they all have endearing and lovable personalities. My favorite song of theirs is either Black and blue, Do it like me, Mr. Bass, If you heard or 5tar. My bias is Chan, although I do love all 5 of them. My expectations for them in 2020 is that I hope they’re gonna continue to grow like they have the last few comebacks. They have grown a lot since their debut, and i want that to continue.

Loona - stumbled onto their predebut projects and it really made me gain interest in the girls. usually i am not a fan of hugee groups but this allowed me to know all their names and how they all come together to produce music. i would say kim lip and loona oed made me want to be casual listeners and they really haven't disappointed. 

Fromis_9 - i am casual stan after i listened to love bomb and when i further found out that kyulkyung and yuha helped compose glass shoes. i love their covers such as senorita, red light and despacito 

Everglow - Onehallyu users in the spamily thread kept plugging them and i decided to check them out. I am a huge fan of their debut songs, bsides and members. They're all so talented and I'm close to stanning E:U

my bias is sunwoo the main rapper

why I stan....first thing made me got into them was watching a clip of sunwoo rapping on high shcool rapper show and it was so cool

 

 

I already knew the boyz are a 12 visual group so ig I underestimated their talent, but never expected that a group would have 12 main dancer 12 main vocal and 12 rapper....each one has own style of singing and dancing, they are talented in so many ways.  they're funny and watching them is lit, you'd see how much fun they're having just being together practicing and spending time, 

stanning a group really doesn't need much of a reason, having fun following them is the real deal

 

my fav song I'd say No Air maybe... but if you wanna fun catchy song I'd recommend giddy up

they have a decent discography anyway anything you check is great,,,,, all above average

I stanned gugudan because of Chococo, and chococo only. I need them to drop the Girl trash concept and go back to classy chococoncept. Chococo was musically superior than all their recent releases. My bias was Hyeyeon but she left. i expect them to disband in 2020 if they don't make a comeback before 2019 ends.

 

Loona, i stna because i like their music, my fav song is satellite, new and Love Cherry motion. Bias Choerry. I expect them to get a first win in 2020

 

The boyz, i stan because of Juyeon, fav song No air ig. Ooomf thinks they might pormote in japan the whole year in 2020, and who am i to doubt him

 

VeriVery, i liked their debut and their recent comeback Tag tag tag. my bias is kangmin cause he's cute and i don't really expect them to do great in 2020, but i wish.

1the9, i don't stan them but they have Lee Seunghwan. Fav song spotlight. Bias seunghwan. I expect them to disband in 2020 so that Seunghwan can go back and debut in playm Boys

Pentagon - my bias is yeo one & kino my fav song is spring snow or its over (both songs by king kino btw)  i stan bcswell i was a stan predebut. Even from before pentagon maker. There was a limbo period that i was sort of rejecting anything from c*be cuz they were pissing me off(during ptg first cb) but i came to my senses right after.  They haven't let me down since.  Edawn was my 3rd bias so that whole decable and drama sucks. But i still love ptg regardless. I just am looking forward to everything they do from here forward.

The boyz - my bias is hyunjae ofc hhh also Q. Fav songs are just u, walkin in time & melting heart. I also stan them since predebut. I was haknyeon stan since pd and after wasnt sure if id like fully stan tbz but def interested in anything they do but by the time creker wad releasing vids of them ik i was stanning for sure.  And ofc now i love them more than i could have imagined before.

I really like Loona but haven't been watching a lot of stuff anymore.

I find their main concept the best one among all ggs, they have a whole storyline as much as they try different genres and  concepts they all are centered in this one story. 

Also the whole Loona project with each girl debuting each month was super creative and managed to make them have one of the best discography out there. Imo they barely have bad songs. All their mvs are also super well done and have a lot of easter eggs.

Their choreographies are also incredible, I remember  before they debuted and even after high high people were skeptical about their dancing since they have a lot of members and formations can get boring but damn, Butterfly/Satellite/Colors probably made everyone shut up.

They made BTS covers for Kcon btw

Oh, also, just like BTS I had problems to pick a bias, all the girls are super likeable, but now mine is Jeon Heejin, in their concept each girl is represented by an animal, she is the bunny. She is super talented, can sing, rap and dances well. One curiosity is that she is from the same clan as Jungkook is, maybe they all have this bunny look and are talented  shbahsjajkaa.

Dreamcatcher- Favourite song is Sleepwalking. Bias is Sua. Been stanning since their Minx debut. Although i wasn't a fan of Piri or What, i really like most of the rest of their songs.

Good Day - Favourite song is Rolly obviously. Bias is Jiwon. Checked them out after a saw Jiwon on The Unit and loved Rolly. Will they ever comeback, who knows?

Nature - Don't really know much about them but i really liked Some and I'm So Pretty. Certainly looking forward to more stuff from them in the future.

Ateez - I genuinely think they are the best kpop performers EVER, I can say it easily despite they're not my ubg. Their performances of Say My Name and Hala Hala give the chills, and also are my fav songs by them. My biases are Hongjoong and Wooyoung. I also think ateez have a very original concept with the whole pirate thing connecting all stuff they do and that they are developing their own type of music where u can tell right say its by them. Tbh, I think everything about them is flawless even tho they're not my ultimate. Not a fan of their latest releases tho since I hate tropical shit but this upcoming cb looks hella cool! Hala Hala vibes

Bvndit - Dramatic is my fav kpop song this year, imo the best, srsly LOVE that song hope they can rise and keep delivering bops.

Loona - fell in love with their music after listening to girl front. Not a big fan of their ot12 songs but butterfly and favorite are good. My favs aside girl front are egoist by Olivia hye and new by Yves, and I like jinsoul the most.

Trcng - their discography is great. I was looking forward to them after wolf baby and utopia was great too. But its really sad how ts manages them. I have no high hopes for them, unfortunately. Ts is absolute crap.

 

I'd rec u to check Saturday too, bbyong was flawlessly cute and the MV was my favorite kpop mv this year lol, the choreo was on point as well. Its just hella pretty and the girls are super cute too. Idk her name yet but I love the girl with ponytails.

ateez: performers of the generation, EASILY. they never lose stage presence, no matter what their concept is (treasure vs. say my name vs. wave vs. aurora). honestly, i can never skip their songs, and that's something i can't easily say about my bias group. my bias is san, and recently seonghwa has been testing me. fav songs would probably be hala hala, promise, wave, and twilight. i have great expectations for them in terms of music. i'm not one to care so much about "roty" and "being the most popular", as long as they keep delivering their great music and grow w each comeback, i'm happy for them

 

everglow: i am lowkey a meninist, but phew if these girls didn't snatch me. i love their concept and style of music, it's just SO good and their two titles are literally unskippable. my bias is easily EU. fav songs are both their titles. i expect them to keep snatching wigs with their music, break stereotypes about ggs being girly and cute. this is the new wave of performers. 

[Lil Ayy Big Gay]

I stan Dreamcatcher cause they got godly vocals, especially Yoohyeon and Siyeon. They are also the first group ever to really catch my eye when it came to their dances. They are always releasing extra content for us, it's great. Loads of dance covers and singing covers, and most recently Dami released  her own solo rap. 

They make their releases an event, before each release, they do these weird coded posts and the fandom is supposed to decode it, an example ;

I actually wouldn't say I stan these groups but I do really like them and their music.

 

Astro - I've really liked their last few comebacks and Eunwoo's Drama was great too.

Everglow - I'm not totally in love with their songs so far, they're ok but that's all for me. I do really like Mia, she has great stage presence. In fact most of the girls do.

Fromis 9 - Loved love bomb, listened to a few more songs and liked them too. I quite like Hayoung, she's cute and a great singer.

Well I'm hearing good things about these new gen groups. So I hope all of them continue to rise. Continue to gain more fans  and recognition. 

I know some of them haven't got their first win yet, so I hope that happens too by the end of 2020.

The Boyz - I always knew them since they debuted, I used to even post on Younghoon thread since I saw him in the I.O.I' whatta man MV. I also knew Haknyeon since Pd101 s2 and been casual to their music (had some bsides of them on my playlist like get it and got it) even tho I didn't stan them and only knew two members. I started stanning totally randomly after I saw a pic of Hwall on twitter and was like ''wow he's serving'', I think it was around November last year, then No Air dropped right after and I was sold (one of my fav song from them, the performance is nice too). 

My bias is Hwall also became my ultimate bias in the end, I also stan Kevin (u might know him he's pretty popular on twitter cause he's a meme) and Juyeon. I think the most interesting thing about the boyz is their synergy as a group, each member is so different and so unique in their own way, yet they all compliment each other very well, and everyone is super talented and the way they behave as a group, idk I just find them very genuine and real. I personally relate a lot to them, more then I had before with any groups and Ive been into kpop for like 10 years so that might say something. The members are crackheads as well. There is members like Kevin, Jacob and New that are composing songs and playing instruments, mostly soft and vocal oriented songs, and make really cool gems, and then there is members like Sunwoo and Eric who write and produce songs as well (more on the rap side) credited in most of their latest songs, so very talented individual. Kevin also a whole graphic designer, been working as well for the album cover/sticker and such, doodles that he shares on twitter etc. Dance line is Q,Juyeon,Hwall, prob one of the most solid dance line that isn't big three as of now, they all have different style as well so it's very interesting to see them blend their own color in their songs, when they choreograph their own part. I'll stop there for that, but they offer a lot of different things and it's criminal how underrated they are and how people usually don't give them a chance cause it's so many members (12) and the fandom isn't really vocal in promoting them since they are mostly popular in Korea more then internationally.

Their music style is pretty diverse, I think they are a group that experiment a lot with their music with their key element being the performance, if you watch the dance practice of their song like No Air, Bloom Bloom or D.D.D, you can see how their choreography is like telling a story, fun and very cleaver. I think they tend to have dance/pop oriented title track tho, like fresh boy-ish vibe. 

I hope in 2020 my bias can finally be back (He's been on hiatus since early July cause of an injury) cause it feels like forever oof. I want them to do a more mature concept cause almost all members expressed the wish to try one, but I think what will happen is they will have their japanese debut and go directly into touring for a good while, which I do not think is the smarter way to do things right now since they got a lot of pressure from other groups debuting and need a more loyal fanbase which I feel they lack of (most are multi with other groups as their ult group) & especially since they seems to rush things rather then wait for Hwall to rest , they're  just about to debut in japan without him which just feel wrong to me and may cost them a lot, but that may just be me being biased  (and dramatic) there.

AB6IX - I've always been a big fan of Jeon Woong's vocals ever since he appeared on that Stray Kids show and when he was announced as their 5th member, I was really excited and happy for him (since he didn't join YGTB and no one knew about his whereabouts back then). Their debut song is one of my most favourite releases of this year and the members seem really close to each other. 

PENTAGON - I watched Pentagon Maker and seeing Jinho appearing on television again made me really delighted cause his vocal skills are top notch. Their debut was kinda underwhelming but their b-sides were really good so I still decided to keep my eyes on them and their releases just keeps getting better and better.

Pentagon: Best group of talent, visual and variety stars. Jinho is a brilliant singer IMO best right now in kpop boybands, Hui is an amazing performer, Hongseok is great at variety and such a hottie, Shinwon is handsome and funny, YeonOne acts well and has a beautiful tone, Yanan is gorgeous and adorable, Kino is perfect all-rounder, Yuto is a great dancer and raps well, Wooseok is our wonderful maknae who combines great sweetness of nature to abundance of talent. All of them produce, compose, choreograph. I would recommend

 

I liked Hyojong as a producer but hated his super-nasal voice so I am sort of glad he left. I'm mad that those two caused harm to Pentagon, significantly damaging the building up of the fandom right when PTG were on a upswing. Also, as a fan from before Pentagon-Maker, he was always one of the least popular among OG!Universe. Like most Universe, we want people to see that period as past, and move on to OT9.
