Has anyone been reading(or watched) The Promised Neverland/Yakusoku no Neverland

i watched the first few episodes, stopped on 8, and dropped it due to boredom. wasnt really fond of the characters/pacing, the orange haired girl is apparently the main character but hardly does anything of relevance, and there was no suspense.

it has an interesting premise though (which is its downfall because everything that followed did nothing to live up to it). if you like AoT or TG you would probably like YnN.

oh but the ost slaps hard and i really like the art style from the manga (haven't read it though).

Yessss, binged the anime earlier this summer and immediately went to look for the manga and am up2date now. It's really good! I have a feeling the manga is in the final arc and I'm so nervous now

Yeah I just read the recent chapter and I'm sad it seems to be nearing the end 😞

I read the manga but then dropped it after maybe 5-6 volumes because I was reading it in ongoing and got tired of waiting for every single chapter. After the series ends will probably read it again in complete since I remember enjoying the story. There were a lot of nicely done surprising moments and plot twists and I liked the fact that main characters are brave but smart and self-sufficient. Also Ray is the best character

When anime came out I saw a couple of episodes but didn't feel the desire to continue. It's adapted very close to original and visuals are nice so can't say anything bad about it. Title song is still of repeat
