With Sperm Exploding All Over SM's Face, Is It Time for SM to Clean Up?

Super M is SM's Wonder Girls. 

The promotion and push for Super M is something that's not working as well in the kpop market let alone the western market. I'm not saying they're not going to sell well, but I don't think they're going to do as well as the concept of the group should have. Super M was nearly announced two months ago yet they haven't released a single song. The teasers went on for way too long, they should've released a pre-release song if they were going to tease for so long otherwise the gp's opinion on the group will turn quickly if you release something like Jopping. The marketing for this group will never work for the Western Market especially. There's so many artists that release tons of singles until one lands before releasing an actual album. In a market where kpop is still not a cemented genre, Super M is only going to find success in a niche market.

That being said, Jopping is a very underwhelming title track with a very underwhelming concept. I feel like kpop sometimes falls under the habit of where they spend so much time on the song that it's too polished and essentially boring. Good, but boring. SM's overall direction has been a hit or miss. There's either nothing really special to them or they put so much shock value that there's nothing left to shock.

That's another thing I've been curious about, how permanent is this group? It looks like they'll only be in the US for a week or two because the members are pretty busy with their individual groups. Most US artists promote for months at a time, which doesn't seem possible with SuperM. Capitol makes it seem like they're here to stay, but nobody has really confirmed it or not.
