Convince me that Twice isn't the best of the current generation

Because from what I'm hearing   I think they sound leagues  ahead of their peers. All while staying true to a Korean sound.

Now keep in mind I know  VERY LITTLE about current groups. I can't stand so many of them due to westrification ( westernization + gentrification. Probably will make a whole ass topic on what I mean by this another time. Because I'm very passionately AGAINST artists in the idol category adopting a "western sound" to get more profits from i fans)

But anyways, I digress, convince me that Twice isn't the greatest K-girl group since Kara (Plz comeback Kara, I miss your glossy kpop perfection)

Twice is at the top but "westernisation/gentrification" arguments don't make sense and will never make sense.

There is nothing inherently korean about kpop aside from when they actually do incorporate some of the cultural elements into a song/mv or the language. And even then they've had english mixed in since 1st gen.

kpop exists because seo taiji and some breakdancers wanted to make korean Run DMC and the sooner people accept that the happier they'll be. its strength is in the fact that it adapts these things for a korean audience and is a fusion genre

anyway for gg that debuted in 2015 or later (Twice's debut year), I think Loona, Gfriend, and Oh My Girl have interesting discographies. I'm also partial to CLC, Dreamcatcher, and G-idle. I don't know that any of them are the 'best' but they all have at least one vocally talented member with good stage presence
