I really want to read the manga Monster, is it good?

It seems like it would be my style. I tend to like more dark and serious when it comes to my mangas, even some of my tv shows. Despite liking dark things I'm a tad bit disturbed by rape in my media. It doesn't make me turn off the series entirely, but I just like to know ahead of time.

But anyways, would you recommend it? Are there rapey things in there?

Honestly, I only watched the anime. It's pretty good, serious, mature, human/emotional . There's always a "moral of the story" for each episode. It's kinda dark, but not mental dark, so it's fine. Each episodes follow a common thread. The ending is cliffhangerish. And the title basically describes the main character, like his path of becoming a monster to kill a monster. It's the kind of anime/manga that you rewatch/reread and learn something new. Definitely worth watching/reading. I don't remember rape scene, but there's child abuse.

If you are looking for quality writing, yes absolutely. The author is cream of the crop. You can read anything from this author (Naoki Urasawa) and you will be served good stuff. I don't recall rape from memory. If there is allusion to that, it'd be done tastefully. I'd recommend Pluto as well as my personal favorite of his works. It's a sci-fi thriller.
