Out of NCT and Ikon, which would be the most unfortunate?

Ikon’s debut was truly something to look forward too, yet somewhere down the line they became the ugly step son who was hated by everyone within the kpop community until the release of Love Scenario. Despite that, ikon still had impressive bsides and released many hidden gems like WYD, but it's a bit hard to tell if they were done when BI was under the influence of illegal drug usage. This leads us to 2019, which unfortunately for ikonics puts them in a terrible situation regarding whether it’ll lead them to quiet disbandment, or general lack of inspiration due to the loss of their main player..

The next unfortunate case goes to NCT who had one of the best debut releases of all time, yet quickly fell through with their international support after the release of firetruck. Ultimately, what turned many people off was the quote on quote “confusing concept”, which actually wasn’t confusing at all, yet nobody genuinely cared so they stuck to simply calling a select few members hot and watching them fall lower with general support and bad management..

Correct me since I follow neither, but isnt nct sm priority? Like, they are pushed everywhere every time? Whenever I see news about my faves (my men are still in SM) I see the member's names (or at least I thought it's them since they're the only sm group I'm not familiar with). (They, and their infinite sub groups, are sm newest group right??)

Whenever I see Twitter trends, I see the members name.

The only thing I see about ikon these few months is "get well soon" "we believe in you" I had no idea why until recently - that's one of literal meaning of 'unfortunate'.

Is it really fortunate to be pushed everywhere as an almost 4 year old concept and still not be doing it better than the groups before you ultimately causing your company to spiral downhill due to the results you can’t get?
