I hope next year we will see a Vpop group that is better or on pair with Uni5 and Monstar. O2O, Super V and FOR7(if they even exist anymore)was just bad. Super V is the best of the bunch, but being under TNT is risky for their future career.

The music videos of Super V and O2O Girl Band made by the South Koreans were so low in quality that it made the quality of the music videos of the Vietnamese company TNT production looks like high quality.

With the economic loss due to the restrictions, I think that Vietnamese people will probably prefer to play it the safe way by investing on soloists rather than groups. I doubt that we will see new groups soon.

From the V-pop goups that are still active, I am only waiting to see the upcoming original music video of SGO48, the debut music video of the Vietnamese girl band END OF IDOL and the debut music video of the upcoming Vietnamese girl band of the South Korean company SB Entertainment (extremely low expectation for this one).

SGO48 is the most popular of all the newcomers, so I think they will do OK I guess. Hope they don't lose more members.

I have very very low expecations to SB too. The constant change of trainees and their content is boring does not give me hopes at all.

It's better for vietnamese to audition to Kpop companies, wether to a Kpop group or a localized project managed by a better company than SB. Hell, even VK Ent that was nugu used to manage LIME, was way better than SB. I still cross my fingers for Hanbin's debut and that one girl is taking in as trainee and debut in more quality group than BB.

6thSense should just wasting their time promoting Uni5 for the vietnamese public. It's not gonna work. Sure they have the acknowledge and some respect, but many still won't support them. Why not do like Quang Hung Master D? Find a neighbouring countries where they can increase their fanbase that could help with the views. Master D has two songs with 50 and 18 million views. That's numbers 6thSense dreams of for their group. Uni5 has some chinese fans. Seen a lot of posts of them on weibo and other chinese media platforms. Could try there? Or Laos, Cambodia, Burma, Malaysia and even Thailand?

No, Quang Hung Master D has only one song that got 50 million views which is "Dễ Đến Dễ Đi (4D)".

The other video of Quang Hung Master D that got 18 million views is only his same song "Dễ Đến Dễ Đi (4D)" that he sang in Thai instead of Vietnamese.

The user Mimikkyu wrote the following things on the General SGO48 Discussion section of the stage48 forum :

Some news about the group:

Oct 2021:
Lệ Trang officially graduated from the group.
She is reportedly a streamer now.

29-30 Oct 2021:
Trùng Dương allegedly had private communications with fan/s resulted in her phone number being leaked online.
Mẫn Nghi's number was also leaked.

I red the on comments from Vietnamese people on the web who said that members of SGO48 don't care about the Idol behavior anymore.

This lack of caring of their behavior might be due to the lack of morality in the communist Vietnamese society.

The Vietnamese have a distinctive lack of morality due to the law, economy and educational system of the Vietnamese communist government :

esx2943qhox31.png

I don't know if there is a link between the lack of caring in the morality and the fact that so many Vietnamese people leave their singing band very fast.

Also the sudden reunion with the members of LIME might also mean that SB Entertainment is trying to attract new people to join, work and stay for SB Entertainment to motivate them to not leave and work harder. I suppose that SB Entertainment might use those members of LIME to become mentors for the second audition.

We still don't know which style be the debut music video of the upcoming Vietnamese girl band of SB Entertainment. Will it be badass style or cute style ?

I have never seen any Vietnamese music videos with girls having success with a badass style music video. Their have been previous attempts such as the music video "Tự Tin (Wake Up)" from the Vietnamese girl band SGirls (which by the way looks way better than the music videos of Super V and O2O Girl Band made recently by the South Koreans), the music video "Catch Me If You Can (Đố Anh Bắt Được Em)" of the Vietnamese girl band O2O Girl Band and the music video "Buông Tay of the Vietnamese girl band Bee.T. All of them failed to have success with the Vietnamese public.

The cute music video "Phải Chăng Em Đã Yêu" of the Vietnamese V-pop singer Juky San became a succesful debut music video which stayed on the top of Vietnamese music charts for quite a long time this year. For me, Amee whose style is cute is still the second most popular Vietnamese female singer after Min.

So if SB Entertainment wants to take the safe way by looking at the trending of what kind of style for female Vietnamese artists would the Vietnamese public like, they will probably prefer to do a cute music video.

This year has not been finished so It might not be good to do a conclusion now for Vietnamese music for the year 2021 but I doubt that there are many Vietnamese music videos that will come out in the near future.

The music video "Trạng Tí" of 365daband got 5 million views while the music video "Nói dối cả thế giới vì em" of UNI5 got only 4 million views while 365daband released the song 3 months after UNI5.

I am not sure if it is because Vietnamese children are replaying the song "Trạng Tí" over and over again or if 365daband is still really more popular than UNI5 with the Vietnamese audience in general.

The hit song "Bống Bống Bang Bang" from 365daband which is the only Vietnamese music video with over half a billion views will probably make 365daband still known over the following decades with the Vietnamese audience in general while Vietnamese groups such as LIME and Monstar will probably be forgotten in the future.

I think the reunion of LIME might be just a friendship renunion, nothing more. But it could be SB is hiring them to be mentors for the trainees.

To be honest, it's tiresome and pointless discussing this issue of groups and Vpop. Vietnam is still a poor country and it might be one of the reasons why the idol group model don't work. A group like Uni5 can have a hit song like 365 - Bong Bong Bang Bang, but that's just a one time thing.

I'm gonna just accept the situation as it is, and rather wait for another vietnamese joining a group that is better than Beauty Box. My interest for Vpop is fading except for a handful of artists I'm still waiting for a comebac: Uni5, Suni Ha Linh and Son Tung M-TP.

Perhaps if the bigger Kpop companies wanna debut a Vpop group, like the planned NCT-Vietnam I would be hyped. But if it comes from a viet company or a nugu like SB, I think I'll pass.

1. Vietnam, just like China, is not communist. It's oligarchic socialist.

2. There is no link between regime system and morality. China is big cleaning on its showbiz. You can't say it is careless about morality.

3. Recently, 4 members of STU48 were fired at once as they were careless to behave. One of them was fired for personally chatted with the male fan for the 3rd time. 2 members of MNL48 were fired after publicizing their romantic relationships. A rumor was that those men of love interest were indeed their close friends and they faked romantic relationship to get their contracts terminated.

4. The nonchalance was more of the result of them giving up, of them being done and seeing no hope in SGO48.

The Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the People's Republic of China are officially communist states de jure.

There have never been a communist State de facto in History. If there was a communist State de facto in History, there would be no poor people which has never existed in that communis State.

The People's Republic of China is not completely careless about the morality but you can clearly see that there is a lack of morality how more the regime is authoritarian. If the talibans are big cleaning on the Afghan showbiz, does it mean that there is a higher sense of morality in Afghanistan right now ?

It is also possible that they faked a love relation to end their contract.

The nonchalance might be indeed as you said more of the result of the members of SGO48 giving up, them being done and seeing no hope in SGO48 becoming successful.

I didn't even know that 365daband went to South Korea and Japan untill today.

Anyway, 365daband got nearly no South Korean fans and no Japanese fans.

The original music video of the V-pop song - "2 Phút Hơn" sung by the Vietnamese rapper Pháo was taken down for copyrights by an owner of a remixed version of 2 Phút Hơn which is completely stupid.

Somebody uploaded the original music video here :

Pháo - 2 phút hơn feat. Wack (Official Music Video) :

Anyway, I expect that the song "2 Phút Hơn" (KAIZ Remix) will become the most viewed video in Vietnamese language on Youtube and take down the current most viewed which is "Bống Bống Bang Bang" from 365daband which took them 5 years to got 500 million views while "2 Phút Hơn" (KAIZ Remix) took a bit less than a year to got 200 million views.

The song "2 Phút Hơn" (KAIZ Remix) might never become as popular as the K-pop song "Gangnam style" from the South Korean singer Psy but It is the Asian song that become the second most viral song after "Gangnam style".

23 December 2020 :

틱톡 그 노래 [제로투] (Hai Phút Hon + Gangnam style) :

I only hope that the popularity of Vinahouse songs such as the Vinahouse song "2 Phút Hơn (KAIZ Remix)" will motivate Vietnamese people to do more Vinahouse songs instead of ballad songs in the future.

I remember reading questions on the web years ago like that the Vietnamese language is too uggly for V-pop to become popular.

The popularity of the song "2 Phút Hơn" kind of contradicts those kind of statements about the beauty of the language.

There is no law to determine if a nation is communist. China has admittedly diverted from communism since Deng's era.

There is no de facto correlation between authoritarianism and morality, such correlation is simply a propaganda of the liberal. Neither authoritarianism is a form of regime.

Purposes of showbiz big cleaning in China and in Afghanistan are fundamentally different. Xi aims for clean un-toxic showbiz while Taliban aims to sabotage the showbiz. Anyway, Taliban is acting accordingly to its moral ideal. Whether the distinct moral standard of the Taliban is agreeable is another subject.

Well, the Chinese communist party also wants to implement their ideas into the showbiz accord to their moral idea.

There has never been real communism implemented and it is impossible to implement communism as each living being is selfish by nature.

I suppose that she is preparing herself to come back in Vietnam once there are less restrictions linked to the COVID pandemic in Vietnam.

Return to Vietnam to do what? She isn't a great singer and her viet pronounciation is not good. I think it would be better if she joined Beauty Box and helped them out. That group is in dire need of new fans and a good visual like her.

Well, her dream of becoming of a succesful singer I suppose what else could she become in Vietnam ?

Probably not to become a cook in Vietnam as she showed her cooking skills in the RBW cooking show "JuJu Đại Chiến".

The Vietnamese of Judy is not good but is comparatively much better than the Korean of Anh from Beauty Box.

Judy can do a whole livestreaming in Vietnamese.

Judy might not be a great singer but she is an okay singer.

Judy is too old to join Beauty Box or the upcoming girl band of SB Entertainment.

I don't know is she is too old to join Lip B but Lip B seems to be inactive.

There are only 19 members left on the 29 original members.

The Gen 2 audition has still not been finished.

No she's not. Besides Beauty Box isn't a ''real'' Kpop group either. Just a gimmick stunt by TNT and BYU. Her joining the group could help a bit.

There was an age limit for Beauty Box and SB Entertainment which was about 22 or 23 years old. Judy is 26 years old.

Why isn't Beauty Box a "real" Kpop group ?
