Unfortunately, it would be hard for TNT Production to help BY-U Entertainment right now due to the lockdown in Vietnam.

 

BY-U Entertainment should better find another partner if they want to improve the quality of their music videos.

I don't know about Hari Won. She doesn't seem to be interested into her singing career anymore. There has been not a single V-pop music video featuring Hari Won that has been released since 2019. Hari Won seems really busy and focused on being an actress or an MC on Vietnamese television or release vlogs on her Youtube channel. I think that her time as a singer is done just like Khởi My. Hari Won works for Kim Entertainment and Kim Entertainment is not a company that has released some super high quality music videos. Kim Entertainment seems more focused on television rather than releasing music nowadays.

I wonder if Beauty Box could become more popular if they add a new member with more beautiful visuals than the current members.

 

There was a Japanese Idol girl band called Rev.from DVL that was the visual member called Hashimoto Kanna that made the group became a bit known but when she left the band, it was the beginning of the decline of the group in terms of popularity. The other members of the group where in her shadow but at least she made the group more well known thanks to her looks.

The group had a sub-unit called "Rev.for TEENZ" that released a music video in two version (Vietnamese and Japanese) called "Ngọt mà chua chua mà ngọt" in 2016. The music video was filmed in Vietnam and it was a commercial for a Japanese milk company called "Calpis".

 

Rev. from DVL originated from a co-ed dance and vocal group formed in 2003, initially under the name "DVL", which stands for "dance", "vocal" and "love", but in 2011, with the rise in idol groups in Japan, it reformed as a girl group, and was renamed "Rev. from DVL", with "Rev." being the short form for "revolution", signifying the evolution from DVL's revolution concept. The group changed their concept from a music video to another music video (from cute style to cool mature style) before disbanding in 2017.

 

I also wonder if Beauty Box could become more popular if they change their concept.

 

I don't know if it would fit if they go with a sexy cool mature concept because the members don't have a tall sexy look with the long beautiful legs.

 

Also maybe they should try to release versions in other languages (Vietnamese, Japanese and Thai) to try to appeal other publics like how the Vietnamese girl band LIME did it with the debut music video "Take It Slow" released in a Vietnamese version and a Korean version.

 

It would be a shame if they don't try to market the Japanese and Thai public if they have members in their group who have Japanese and Thai origins.

 

If BY-U Entertainment really wants to attract the Vietnamese public, they should study more on what make Vietnamese songs succesful and maybe incorporate some V-pop influence into their K-pop music videos and blend it together :

They can forget making a vietnamese version. BB is being laughed at by viet netizens. Remember BYU ceo tried to do PR stunt on K Crush, vietnamese biggest Kpop fan page with 1 million followers? Here is their response to BB's debut:

If we want a successful vietnamese Kpop idol, he or she must debut in a bigger company and with members that has a name. Doing like BYU is not going anywhere.

First, you overlooked why BY-U ended up with this underwhelming lineup in the first place. Seriously pretty persons have better choice than to sign with an obscure music label like this. I believe one can make more than being Beauty Box' member being Tiktok star.

Hashimoto Kanna's beauty was acknowledged through drama. While her group was super obscure, it likely belonged to a fairly big agency so, she could make acting debut as lead female of a drama from a mainstream broadcaster. Another example is Kawaguchi Yurina, a gorgeous contestant of Girls Planet 999 and a granddaughter of a millionaire. She used to be a member of X21. While X21 was barely known, it belonged to Oscar Promotion, which happened to be a big acting agency. That was why the agency could drawn her to apply for the group.

It will only be a waste attempting to promote the group to the Thai or the Japanese. Bother countries have better local girl groups. Beauty Box has zero competitiveness in both markets.

Their debut music video "Take It Slow" featured the South Korean boy band High4 and the South Korean boy band O Broject who are 2 South Korean boy bands that are not popular so I don't think that a lot of views come from the fans following those 2 South Korean boy bands.

 

Will Beauty Box even manage to get at least 1 million views on their music video ?

LOL no... It's about connection. TNT has Kpop connections obviously. That's why how he got Zero9 to perform on Soribada in 2019.

6thSense is focusing more on getting Uni5 popular in Vietnam, but doesn't seem that helped even with the boys joining The Heroes. They did get Luc Huy on a Arirang show
