You know what, if a bigger company had debuted a V-Kpop group similar to LIME now with closer to K-beauty standard, vietnamese Kpop fans would flock to them by now. They're not doing it for Beauty Box and it's sadly understandable why. 

Don't you think they would rather support a group with visuals like these girls?

Okay I just watched BB debut. I'll make a short review and that's it:

Positive:

-The song is not bad. 

-The locations and sets are fine. 

Negative:

-Had low expectations to the quality of the mv, but it still looks cheap and outdated. Like 10 years ago. 

-They are not synchronized. I could see some dance parts were off. 

-The title of the song is just silly. 

But the good news is Vietnam finally joined the Kpop world.

BB won't promote on music shows according to some fans I've spoken to. It comes from the interview they had with a french magazine.

YAG Entertainment just announced a few minutes ago that SGO48 Lệ Trang is going to be graduated from SGO48 on 30 September because she wants to focus entirely on her studies.

SGO48 Lệ Trang was the the queen of handshakes.

 

It is the first time that a very popular member is going to leave SGO48 forever.

 

Originally debuted with a 29-member line up on December 22, 2018, SGO48 will have 19 members after 30 September 2021.

The views are low. Let's wait a month to see if the views will rise. Maybe with a bit of luck, a trendy tik tok video dance could save them.

 

Maybe they might still relase one or a few more music videos. The probability that this will happen will be higher if they promote more towards the Japanese public and the Thai public.

 

With a bit of luck, Beauty Box might become popular later if they manage to release a catchy song like how Crayon Pop was about to be completely bankrupt then released the music video "Bar Bar Bar" which was their last chance, which became a hit and saved them for a few more years.

The real name of Anh from the K-pop girl band Beauty Box is Trần Nguyễn Trâm Anh.

She was born in 1999 in Saigon.

Her name as a singer when she was in Vietnam was Cherie.

She auditioned for Z-Girls but failed the audition.

 

I have not found any videos about Anh when she was a singer called Cherie in Vietnam.

They should focus more on Japan since there are two japanese members, but for some weird reason they don't. But I've seen uptick of vietnamese comments on their debut video.

You never know what will happen with BY-U Entertainment, they only said that they were going to recruit Korean, Japanese and Vietnamese people at the beginning but they recruited a Thai member which was a surprise because it was not announced initially.

 

I doubt that they will appear on a Vietnamese music show except if they filmed it in Vietnam before July 2021.

 

It will more probably be in South Korea or Japan or Thailand compared to Vietnam which is completely under lockdown if they are going to appear live on a music show in a near future.

I doubt a nugu company as BYU that clearly has very limited resources and connections will be able to get them on big music shows like MCountdown, Music Bank or Inkigayo. Hell I even think THE SHOW is off-limit for them. BB will probably just end up in Show Champion like with Ivone. BYU is likely in the same size as SB/HR Music where Ivone is or was from.

Just google "Vietnamese cosplayer" and you will find plenty of very attractive Vietnamese girls (and also attractive Vietnamese male cosplayers) way more attractive than the members of Beauty Box.
