It will be hard to travel for Vietnamese people right now so K-pop companies would probably not hire Vietnamese people from the Socialist Republic of Vietnam right now.

 

Instead meanwhile, K-pop companies could hire Chinese people from the Republic of China instead of hiring Chinese people from the People's Republic of China.

 

I think that Japanese people, Thai people, Indonesian people and Filipino as they have a big population with no civil war (blablabla purchasing power but if you have a good purchasing power but only a very low population then it is also not very good economically for the companies) will have a higher probability to be hired by K-pop companies rather than Vietnamese people as long as the high covid restrictions will be imposed on Vietnam by the Vietnamese communist party.

 

If there are new more contagious covid variants resisting more to the covid vaccines appearing, everything could change.

Thailand is already established in Kpop and I think their market is profitable. BNK48 sold over 100k albums in their debut so that tells us something about their purchase power. Indonesia is a huge country with a rapidly developing economy. Shopee and Tokopedia already had Kpop idols be a part of their CF. Vietnam is the lowest ranked out of those two nations, but they are not too far behind the Philippines. I do think Korea will invest more in Vietnam. Also in the entertainment department. We kinda see it already started, all though not successful: 020 girlband and Super V in Korea. Now if they work with bigger companies than TNT, then we might see something extraordinary good.

A bit off-topic but look here: A Kpop rookie group from a small company managed to hit 1st place on Vietnam's Itunes. A group with no viet members. 

While Beauty Box that most likely debut the first vietnamese member has barely any attention from vietnamese Kpop fans. Despite BYU CEO desperate plea to them by posting a video on K Crush but left nobody impressed. Not to mention people found out his affiliation with Tang Nhat Tue... 

I'm still looking forward to BB debut a bit but I hope next time we have a vietnamese in a bigger company. If another nugu, then hope they work with somebody in Vietnam with a good reputation.

Can somebody give me a good reason what is the point with having 020 Girlband doing this in Korea?  They barely practice and it looks more and more like a vacation. The views are super low and no interest. You know why the majority vietnamese audience despise idol groups? Well, it's because of projects like this

Geez the company and management behind 020 Girlband is really insecure. If you write a comment, it has to be approved by them before being shown. And if there are negative comments, they delete it. Doesn't matter, 020 girl band is a flop.

Yes I think you're right. But I think she will debut. 

FNC held audition for a new girl group last year, despite Cherry Bullet being relatively new. Hsu Nien Tsu will be in this group.

This is a group I have very high anticipating to: Hanbin's Tempest.

Hanbin, a popular trainee who rose to fame on the survival show I-LAND, was seen in public for the first time since leaving BELIFT LAB to join Yuehua Entertainment.

Fans began to be concerned when Hanbin failed to update his personal Twitter account for more than two months after the announcement. Furthermore, the company said that Hyeongseop and Euiwoong's "Yuehua Project" fancafe

will close on August 17, adding them to the list of possible "TEMPEST" members.

I used to think these groups will flop hard, but now I think they might have a future as a underground idol genre in Vpop. Judging from the sales of cd's, mechandise and fan following SG048, these Jpop inspired groups might have enough fan support to survive over established groups such as Uni5, Monstar, 020 Girlband, P336 and others like them.
