One of the reason why I want a Produce V is because of China is now semi-shutting down their own idol culture. Fan-activities will be under strict control and their survival shows are now banned. This is a oppertunity for Vpop and Vietnam to shine through a recognized and popular brand like Produce 101(Despite the scandals).

I notice there has been a significant decrease of korean reactions of Vietnam lately. Before the pandemic, there were dozens of youtube channels making videos of vietnamese stuff. Now, just a handful are doing this. Is it because of covid or they just lost interest?

I don't know.

The only active ones are these three

And those guys from SB Entertainment.

Koreans seems to prefer indonesian and malaysian culture more. I think it has to do with they are showing more hospitality and politness than vietnamese. Koreans appreciate those traits. I'm not saying viets are rude, but they are not known to be extremly polite either.

The first video "[OLD BUT GOLD] NGƯỜI HÀN REACTION "VÌ YÊU CỨ ĐÂM ĐẦU" - MIN" is an upload of an old video.

The second video "Giãn cách xã hội thì làm gì? Cùng Ju Ju tập nấu món ăn Việt - tổng hợp phần 2" is a compilation of old videos.

I tried to upload Vietnamese music videos on the Chinese video sharing website Bilibili but it failed. Does somebody know how to make it work ?

A interview of Anh talking about her feelings in Beauty Box and most likely become the first vietnamese Kpop idol

content_IMG_2414.jpg

Her fellow member, Anh, from Hochiminh City, said, "it's a complicated feeling of excitement, feeling good, and nervousness." She says she feels an extra responsibility put on her because she's the first ever Vietnamese K-idol. "I want to give courage to teenagers who dream of becoming K-pop idols in Vietnam."

She also said she misses her home country, but she wants to show her family what she can accomplish.

"I'm going to succeed so that I won't regret it," she said.

My biggest fear that BB debut video will be something like this:

I know BB is nugu and small, but I hope they can deliver a video like Rain on Me. The BYU Ceo said in a interview he had connection within the vietnamese entertainment industry. Then they surely can help him out with MV production?

This is a rebranded group of ANS. You can see it's low-budget, but the cinematography is decent.

BB will debut on the 23rd this month. From the few seconds of the video, it seems they are going for a cute concept.

Where did that BY-U Entertainment announced that Beauty Box will release their debut music video on 23 September 2021 ?

You should watch the video, it says in the end. Some parts of the song can be heard too.

Ha okay, I saw it but I didn't see it the first time. They should have changed the police and put it bigger.

Kinda agree. They made a lousy job showing the date. That's why I'm still wary of their debut. The song sounds fine so far what we heard. But the MV.... If BB fails, at least we got Hanbin with Tempest. Knowing the quality Everglow has shown, we can expect Yuehua to give Tempest a high-quality MV.

Don't if this has been posted

But I like this song. Da Lab is a group that is pushing the right button to gain vietnamese audience approval. Their songs is simply made and mv's has a story that relates to the public. I don't understand why Uni5, Monstar and other groups failed to do what they do.

The ban of Chinese survival show and other celebrity stuffs in China has arise in VTV's news. VTV is the national television broadcaster of Vietnam.

After showing a bad image of the survival shows and idol culture in China, I doubt Produce Vietnam will happens soon in the near future.

That's a shame. But I think Vietnam will have a form of survival show creating a national group. May not be Produce V, but something similar. All thought it probably look cheap and the same standard as previous attempt survival shows. The reason why is because there seems to be a slow interest of debuting new groups even if they are flopping.

In the Philippines they had a show two years ago to create a boy and girl group at the same time. The show is called Star Hunt Academy. This is not like Produce at all, but some small influences. They hired korean trainers and mentors. Both groups debuted and seem to be growing in success. I think Vietnam might try something similar format.

China banning idol culture in CPOP and stopping the Hallyu Wave can be good news for Vietnam. This might force Kpop companies to accept more viet trainees and invest more into the vietnamese music entertainment. Maybe a Produce V is not out of the possibility yet.
