Why do you think SM have not debuted their NGG yet?

They want a BTS level boygroup bringing in the coin and they thought it was going to be NCT and it wasn't so now they are desperate and going with SuperM because it's easier to have a group filled with already recognisable members with a fanbase already than to bring a freshly debuted boygroup to that level.
They want a cashcow because they've ruined EXO and now don't have one.

Girl groups don't make as much money so they are on the back-burner, SM is even focusing more on their businesses than music in attempts to fix their finances . it's tragic

I am not sure I want another NCT group, just female this time...Also, generally most trainees are known by SM-watchers (like for SNSD or RV) but I haven't heard of any new or interesting members creating a buzz after Yiyang left (barring that girl in that mv). TBH even the concept has to be unique to draw attention...

Maybe they're waiting for good trainees? Maybe present trainees are getting ps and waiting for it to settle? Ann important member turned out a bully?

I would be very surprised if they debut the gg now, but 2020 is basically the most suitable window - Twice will be in 5th year, other companies would have already debuted their ggs eg. EG, RP etc. 2021 is JYPngg, so maybe SM want to see what they're like? Maybe compete with them?
