havent seen the performance but from what is described in those comments it does seem like she might have overdone it

First, that flabby pancake shouldn't be shown off - get an ass like JLo before you show it off. Second, there was no artistic or performative reason for that act, like Hyori's Bad Girl.

Hyuna has played on her sexiness since her WG (as creepy as it was). Nobody hated her for it, rather gg!stans supported her saying the company was forcing her. For gp and other idols she was a sexy icon, with some hate on Nate/Pann etc. but no actual criticism. It is this incident that is causing scandal - but it comes as consequence of a series of over-sexualized Laysha-lite stages, with that pink outfit especially being discussed. Simply, she just looked cheap and strange doing it in a college festival.
