Already told this before but, LOVELYZ OUTSOLD.

That confidence. Those vocals. Those looks. This is the real them!

They may not match up to the original, but considering they did this well in a style they aren't used to, they deserve much credit. Babysoul was smashing those notes and Jisoo, damn, that look! Sujeong was really good too, she reminds me of Gain. Kei disappointed me quite a bit, but the rest were really great.

Woollim, this is how you Lovelyz!!!

 

Also, it's stupid how people hate on them for performing something out of their concept. If they stayed with their innocent pure virgins concepts then no one would care about them, especially since OMG is there and their discography is almost identical in style. If they performed their usual concept when they are at the brink of elimination, where else would they be able to show the "Devilyz" side of them.

I literally have been unable to stop rewatching AOA's Egotistic cover for the past week. I'm a Nevie and went into the show supporting Gidle, but AOA's stages have completely won me over. I never paid much attention to AOA before, and now I'm rooting for them to win the show.

That being said I honestly have no idea how the 2nd round rankings will go. Knowing Korea's taste, I'm definitely sure OMG will take 1st place, and the rest is unpredictable. I mean, before the audience vote in the 1st round, AOA was first and OMG was last. But after, OMG got 3rd and AOA got 4th (which was blasphemous imo)

One thing for certain though, if AOA isn't top 2 for this round I'm gonna riot.

Also screw Mnet for leaving us on a cliffhanger like that.

I totally agree with this. All the perfs are great but those two were above. My favorite is AOA by a small margin. They said one vote between them ^^

Ep 1 & 2 (Round 1): AOA > OMG >= MMM >= GIDLE > Park Bom > Lovelyz

• AOA killed it. Just this performance alone made me want them win this competition. They proved that they are still just as good as ever even with just 5 members.
• I also enjoyed Oh My Girl, Mamamoo, and GI-DLE's performances.
• Park Bom wasn't too bad. Her singing is just a bit too jarring for my liking.
• Lovelyz's concept/outfit/song all just didn't mix well for me. I know they wanted to try a different concept than usual but this so called "girl crush" vibe they were going for just doesn't mix well with Ah Choo. Well not with the way they sang the song. It was still the same melody(?) and everything.

Seolhyun is so pretty. I am just in awe every time they show a close up of her.

 

Ep 3 & 4 (Round 2): AOA > OMG > MMM = Park Bom = GIDLE = Lovelyz

• Mamamoo: I don't think the different individual concepts worked well. Good idea but execution was lacking. The performance only picked up for me when the 4 of them performed together. Plus side is that Wheein looked really good here.
• AOA: After their grand performance last time, they managed to do it again. They may not be the best singers compared to Mamamoo but they know how to play to their strengths. They did an excellent rearrangement of the song. Felt like a while new song all together. Hyejeong shined in this performance.
• Park Bom: Her rendition of Hann is not particularly my style. It's not as bad as I originally thought it was during my first time watching. Her stage gestures are just a bit awkward which threw me off.
• Oh My Girl: I loved the concept. Yooa's bridge part was definitely the highlight. The instrumental and stage setting was spot on for that moment. Only let down was that the rap didn't really fit in.
• GIDLE: Performance wise, they're not a group that is on the lacking end. But this performance felt like it was missing something but I can't pinpoint what it is. Soojin is always a pleasure to watch though. Her dancing is very captivating.
• Lovelyz: Makeup and costume fit Sixth Sense perfectly but the rest is still lacking. I can see what style they're trying to go for but I don't think they picked the right song for them. Their voices are not as strong and too shrill compared to Brown Eyed Girls. Sujeong's husky voice is probably most suiting and I can see why they gave her Gain's part. The rap parts (san Jisoo's) were bad and unlistenable. They should have went without it. Also didn't really like how the chorus suddenly became very pop. 

Overall, performances for this round were enjoyable but lacking at the same time. My ranking ended up about the same as the first round.

OMG was a really surprise, I'm not a fan and i don't like the song they sang, but It was really great, it was flawless.

On the other hand, Lovelyz choose a great song, but couldn't delivery it. Most of the girls didn't fit the concept, the performance was weaker and weaker while the performance was going on.

May I invite you to watch mamamoo's performance again without reactions/cuts? seriously mnet did them dirty by inserting more than one minute worth of useless reactions into their performance when they only put in a few seconds for other performances. And did they have to replay solar tripping so many times? 

Mamamoo had alot of comments that their stage is disjointed by non-live viewers of this show but majority of it was due to the unnecessary reactions interjected. Live audience, not having to see those reactions, on the other hand loved the performance, seen as mamamoo ended up winning the most audience votes.
