Goo Hara To Take Legal Action Against Malicious Comments

On June 17, Goo Hara posted a photo on her Instagram story and announced her plans to take legal action against those who post malicious comments.

 

The following is the full statement from Goo Hara:

 

I will be taking legal action against malicious comments. I will not show leniency regarding [punishment for] malicious comments. For my mental health, I hope that I am a person whom you look at with love in your eyes, [talk to me with] beautiful and kind words.

It’s not easy [suffering] from depression. [You say] I’m depressed because I’m at ease? [Everything I have is something] I gained by trying and working hard. Do you not know that you could also have depression and be someone with an illness.. Where are beautiful hearts that we can use to take care of each other’s wounds?

I will try to overcome and show a better and positive side of myself. You should try too. Public figures and celebrities are not people who simply gain things [without trying]. We have to be careful with our private lives more than anyone. We suffer from things that we can’t even tell our friends and family. It’s something that no one can understand even if talk about it.

You are free to express yourself. However, can’t you think about what kind of person you are before posting malicious comments again?

On May 26, it was reported that Goo Hara had attempted suicide in a room at her house the previous night. She was found unconscious by her manager, and she was immediately taken to the hospital to be treated.

 

After regaining consciousness the following day, Goo Hara reassured fans of her health through her representative. Last week, she made a welcome return to social media to share her love for fans. On June 17, Goo Hara shared another update on her health by posting photos of herself.

Goo Hara expressed herself beautifully, but her words are sad. I don't understand how people can be careless and post malicious comments when she's in a down and troubled state. Depression is not something to joke about. These people are irresponsible and need to be held accountable for their actions. As they had their say, they'll need to pay.
