YG Entertainment Releases Official Statement Denying That Han Seo Hee Was Ever A YG Trainee

YG Entertainment has released an official statement that Han Seo Hee was never a trainee at the agency.

 

Recently, Dispatch reported that B.I had allegedly tried to buy marijuana and LSD (lysergic acid diethylamide) from “A†in 2016. Since then, B.I has posted on his Instagram account and announced his departure from iKON and YG Entertainment, with the agency confirming the news. “A†filed a report to the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission claiming that YG had ties to the police and used that to conceal B.I’s involvement in the 2016 drug case, and the identity of “A†was revealed to be Han Seo Hee.

 

On June 17, YG Entertainment released a statement that read, “‘A,’ the person known as the informant, was never a trainee under YG Entertainment.†They explained, “Though we have made requests to media outlets to make corrections, wrong information continues to be reported. Therefore, we would like to reaffirm the fact [that ‘A’ was never a YG trainee] once more through this official statement.â€

 

The Gyeonggi Southern Provincial Police Agency has announced that they will be forming a task force to further investigate the case, and “A†is expected to be called in for further questioning.

It's a strategy.

 

Han Seo Hee hasn't had a good reputation in Korea and only recently people are changing their views about her. It's not so much that people like her now, but that they're realizing that there may be truth to what she's been saying all along. It looks like YG is trying to stop that momentum and break her credibility.

If Han Seo Hee was a trainee (or associated with YG in some way) while doing and/or supplying drugs with other YG artists, that's a HUGE problem. Something(s) within the company is really messed up. Could we deduct that people in the company knew? Not sure but it's possible. If YG can convince that she was never part of YG then she's just a random girl and the (drug) activities by their artists were on their own, no link to YG. Whether or not the strategy will work we'll see.

another part of this is the kbs report that showed documents showing the police did send bi drug case to the prosecution for investigation and arrest but the prosecution denied it. The kbs report also questioned why the police did not arrest her as she was a drug dealer and also asked why they allowed her to leave the country. There's alot going on here and its not black and white theres a shit ton of grey
