[BREAKING] Yang Hyun Suk’s younger brother, Yang Yang Min-suk, quits his position as CEO.

Wow I was not expecting to see his brother quit too. I felt like not much would happen after yg made his announcement earlier, since his brother was there still. Now it seems like they're running from someone or something(that we don't know about yet) when earlier in the year they were so confident.

I've seen people celebrating hyun Suk and his brother withdrawl from the company, but there's not much to celebrate for YG stans.

Hyun Suk has done a lot of bad things, however investitors trusted in him to deliver successful groups, songs and projects, without them, wil people keep investing in YG? You know how business works, people invest when they know they'll get their money and much more back. YG has problems in 2 of their main groups: ikon and big bang. Ikon was made to be the next big bang. They are basically relying on BlackPink and Winner, but til next year winner member(s) will need to enlist.

Hyun Suk has saved the company and the groups in the past, and now, who'll do it?

While they are at it, the rest of the board can resign as well. After all, they gave these two a vote of confidence earlier this year. That obviously didn't turn out very well. But as others have mentioned, as long as the two brothers own shares, they'll still be pulling the strings and micromanaging in the background.

I wonder if something even bigger is going to drop soon that the yang brothers know about so they're resigning ahead to try and prevent even more damage. I read earlier that HSH claims there were other yg artists who've done drugs and if dispatch has names and evidence it's only a matter of time before they start revealing them. This reminds me of the BS stuff where everyone thought things couldn't get any worse but every single day something new was being revealed...

Oh God quit with the YG ass kissing. He is a terrible CEO that buries many potential celebrities (AKMU, Lee Hi, anyone that isn't his favourite such as the 3 girls of blackpink) and severely mismanage many careers of his groups. He is extremely narcissistic and cares more about his own image than his idol groups. If he was a responsible CEO, he would've been caring about his idol groups instead as they are the one that are supposed to bring in the money for the company. Instead, he willingly sit out on potential money making opportunities because he's too busy appearing on shows left and right and even in the rare event his idol groups appear on variety show, they're supposed to make a YG imitation or talk about that goddamn YG cafeteria, taking up prime time to promote themselves.

He got lucky with Big Bang G-Dragon, then created the female version of Big Bang a.k.a 2NE1 and since then he's been creating Big Bang and 2NE1 version 2.0, 3.0, 4.0....... Is the Kpop community supposed to continue lapping up his rehashed version of Big Bang and acting like it's the best thing since sliced bread when even the original Big Bang themselves ain't that great?! As a group, they have sub-par talent, arrogant personalities and questionable ethics. I'll admit their songs are fun but they are not that great.

Ikon was never gonna be the next big bang, it's just YG's personal wish for them to be (and also reason why he got so disappointed team A won - talk about being ridiculous). He doesn't have 10/10 vision, as evidenced by Ikon's moderate success instead of being the next big bang.

All in all, YG is not the saviour of his idol groups. If anything he is a virus contaminating his idols with illegal doings and getting away with the law. This should not be encouraged. It's G Dragon and Teddy that continuously writes songs after songs that are catchy and fun which keeps the company going.
