Because for once I tho' a sis group wouldn't be focused in one person (SKE > Jurina, NMB > Sayanee) but it looks like HKT ace is Sakura as she already Wcentered an AKB single. Well, good luck to her. I hope the song is good. i think management are, and have always been, generally just really confused about HKT's top. Sakura entering senbatsu (and higher than much more pushed senbatsu members too) just cemented her position and made things easier for management, giving her a kami push (as is very evident lately). But the gap between Sakura and the ones behind her in HKT isn't even that big so I don't think it's going to be a J/SKE or Sayanee/NMB situation yet. Mostly because of Sasshi's existence in HKT, I dare say. We'll only see in the elections tbh. Also people on s48 are saying that this post about supporting Sakura could possibly be about the MG4 casting rather than the new single. I think Sasshi fans are really amazing, because she got the support many members didn't have and she got #1 thanks to that. The greatest part of it is the sense of responsibility she has now (even when she says she has no sense of responsibility lol), leading the youngest group of girls (maybe except Team 8)... indeed a win win situation. I think she can be more valuable to HKT than AKB even if the scandal didn't happened, she's lucky. Yeah, I watched some Akbingo eps and Meru is really cute but I feel like management favors others more than her so she gives me that feel. Even with Ikoma not centering for Nogi and getting 2nd/3rd row I can see management trying with her, she got the AKB kenning (the group she loves in the same team of her oshimen Mayu) she's getting her photobook soon. They are at least trying. But I really want her to center again because girl centered the 5 first singles, I don't get why she can't do it again ... I love Ikoma /// I want Meru to get more opportunities and exposure like Ikoma, even if she's not their ace choice she can still get more, like for example: a kenning in Team 4 (she suits 'em) .
