Should a man always go out ot his way to make his girl feel special?

If a man tells his girl he loves her, shouldnt he be making her feel like the most special person in the world to him? I'm not saying kiss her feet and cater to her needs but it's the little stuff and thoughtful gestures... yes i'm talking about my boyfriend.

Depends on what your defintion of making a girl feel special is, having the expectation that they'll do things like dropping by the store and picking up your favorite food or drink every once in awhile or telling you that you're beautiful daily is fine. But expecting love letters. flowers, and confessions of undying love on a daily basis is unrealistic and is just going to leave you perpetually disappointed. If he isn't doing the former maybe talk to him and tell him that you feel undervalued and a bit neglected. Holding these feelings inside is only going to lead to resentment on your part and continued cluelessness on his.
