Polaris_Tae 1,617 Posted May 15, 2019 Share Posted May 15, 2019 So I was in class at Uni and we were Japan apologizing to South Korea about war crimes, and somehow the topic turned to The Australian Prime Minister apologizing to Indigenous people for the atrocities committed to them during the 20th century and someone said with their whole chest that Indigenous people are not seen as equal to other Australians and that is why the whole apology happened. I'm like what the fuck! How do they not see that that's racist?! Thankfully the teacher canceled that shit, bc she was getting offended too. I'm fucking offended that people could still think like that in 2019, they surely don't have relatives who were scared of taking their sick kids to the hospital for fear of them being taken away.
