I enjoy watching their live shows and they all seem to be super huge and packed. Are they popular rn in Japan? more than AKB or Nogizaka46? They aren't currently trending in Japan as much as Nogi but the chance of them getting a performance in Tokyo 2020 is much higher than Nogi/AKB or any girl groups tbh. Household name, universally well-liked, members are known individually, etc. Back when they started to become popular, almost every comedy drama, romcom, talkshows, varieties etc mentioned them.
