In her video, she said she already made her time to talked to him privately but then she heard ppl said James did that behind her back so she cancelled him... She said she saw him as her family, she called him out on his behavior, help him to pass through it, but he betrayed her and did not love her as same as she loves him... That's what I take from her video. Idk, I have a friend like that too. I trust that person a lot, give all my gut, making excuse for her when she behaves wrongly (not as same as James) and then I found out she didn't see me the same so I might feel sympathy for Tati... Yeah, James Charles has been problematic, but his relationship with Tati was different from the common onlooker. Tati was more of a mother figure, a nurturing person to James. And yeah: she started his carreer. Those kind of relationships don't dump you at the first screw-up you make, instead they're there for you and give you advice and listen to you so you can curb that behavior (because hostility is coercion and doesn't leave a lingering effect imho, reaching out and educating is MUCH more effective, cancel culture has its limits). Thing sadly became worse... James Charles became sexually harrassing towards straight men. There's the Gage issue, also how he harrassed an straight male waiter at Tati's b-day party, left unsolicited insinuating comments on other men's social media accounts, and God knows what else he did in private... Tati said she spoke privately to James, that this behavior was not okay, and that he should get some help. The Sugar pills ad wasn't the only thing that made Tati angry...
