New JYP Girl Group in 2021?

According to OP, JYP plans on debuting a second girl group following their 3 month old rookies Itzy, sometime in 2021. Take these rumors with a grain of salt, because the source is from Wikipedia. However, insiders did report on numerous occasions that JYP plans on debuting another girl group in 2020, but their latest report says otherwise, so perhaps the initial plans of a 2020 girl group have been pushed back for a later date?

Way too soon for that. I thought the 2020 group would be the japanese group?

2020 is now officially confirmed for the Japanese girl group, but prior to that they were planned for 2019 and then the second Korean girl group for 2020 (according to insider reports) I'm thinking that either plans were scrapped for the next Korean girl group, or they got pushed back because of the Japanese one happening next year instead?

I'm agree with you..

JYPE will debut new girlgroup in 2021., it's because if Lily still in JYPE that time in 2021 her age will same like Yeji & already graduate from Highschool too, with that Lily already can take responsibility as a Leader in that new group (if Eunseo not become an Idol & join that group too.. Hehehe)

Btw., Lily will have 6 years trainee time in JYPE 2021 (Just like Chaeryeong in Itzy right now).. Because of that Lily deserve to debut too.. She's already wait for a long time.. (Eunseo will be 7 years in JYPE that time too)..

itzy have the potential to be huge, I don't think debuting a new group so soon and dividing fandoms is a great idea.

Fortunately, if JYP were to debut another group within the next 2 years, it wouldn't affect Itzy because of JYP's new division system

Nizi 2020 though

global audition end august 2019 & training for 6 months then debut november 2020

Hence why I said plans have likely changed or been pushed back. But even then, Boy Story and Stray Kids debuted in the same year, so nothing is stopping JYP from doing the same again.
