cheolbong supremacy 16,576
DONT READ UNLESS YOU'VE READ THE SPOILERS ON FREEFOLK OR WATCHED THE EPS: 1) I cant fucking believe that Ned kept Jon's secret for so many years, at great cost to his own marriage, and under the nose of his best friend the Usurper only for his own daughter to turn around and purposely let it slip not even 5 minutes later. I call BS on all the "She's just PlaYing the gAme!1" there's no game left to play, what throne is left when everyone in the kingdom is dead and nearly your whole family is dead or wants to die. I feel like D&D have it in their heads that they want Sansa to be some badass apprentice of LF and Cersei (ohHH LOOK Sansa may have betrayed her flesh and blood, and broken an OATH made in the godswood, but ITS ALL GOOD, that was the cool, smart thing to do!") and no matter how much some hoes eat that up, I'll be here rolling my eyes to high heaven. Sansa is a lot of things, but smart aint one of em (D&D: lets make Sansa tell the army they need to wear armour...GENIUS!!". Now she aint a decent, loyal person either. No wonder Ned never told Cat. Like mother like daughter 2) I can't believe Jaime's whole character development is going to die in flames just so he could go back to cersei. Remember that THIS is who Jaime is in the books: He gave up on her long ago. The show dragged it on for so long and even up till the last season i cant. Even if some spoilers are right and he dies with Cersei, he still left Brienne behind thinking that he left her for Cersei. COME ON edit: can yall chill I already know he's going to kill Cersei what I'm pissed abt is that it took 8 seasons to get his redemption arc and to get with Brienne and its all gone in 1 episode so that he can be a Kinslayer and save the kingdom only for no one to know what he did just like with Aerys the first time 3) JON YOU STUPID , HEARTLESS MOFO. I know Show! Jon is an idiot, but damn I can't believe he shares the name with the teenage boy in the books who fight a damn proxy war from behind a wall. This Jon can't even run two brain cells together i-- Dany: Uh, Jon...Maybe DON'T tell anyone this massive secret until we win the war Jon: wow, great idea Da--HER ARYA SANSA I HAVE SOMETHING TO TELL YOU Ghost: *notice me notice me I have always been loyal and there for you I would DIE for you* Jon: oh, look. A dog. HE JUST IGNORED GHOST. I cant believe D&D didnt make use of Jon's warg abilities AT ALL and for Ghost to not even be beside Jon makes no sense, let alone Jon abandoning him to Tormund like yesterday's leftovers. HE DESERVED BETTER 4)...I'm not even going to talk abt Dany's utter character assassination. Everyone expected her to go mad and held her family's reputation over her head. She was literally sold into martial slavery by her own brother, raped, had her baby die, had every excuse to turn insane but instead made an effort to free other people and try to make the places she ruled a better place (even if she sucked at it sometimes lmao)...she should have just stayed in Mereen and watched Westeros die in flames. They didn't deserve her help. Now D&D want to turn her "mad" by taking away everything she cares about and have her own lover and only remaining family kill her. That's not tragic or shocking, it's just shitty writing and ruins her character development for no reason. RIP

Mees Madds 36,578
How about Varys's hypocrisy? "Someone who doesn't want the throne would make a good ruler"? Really? Robert didn't want to be a king, was he a good ruler? And Dany let Varys keep his big head on his shoulders even though he was the one sending assasins after her when she was just a little girl. Now he betrays her because she listens to her advisors, loses almost all her army and allies, loses her closes friends, says fuck that and goes after Cersei the only way she can? He only wants Jon on the throne because he is easily manipulated. He pointed that out himself. Once Dany stops listening to his and Tyrions stupid ideas she becomes "too strong". cheolbong supremacy 16,576
What did you expect from D&D Kings of ruining character development and inventing bad writing I expected shitty writing and loads of death. I don't even mind my favs dying. But this...disregarding everything that made the characters and the story what it was....to the point that its a pathetic parody of itself? I dont kno why I expected anything else
swiftswitchsurf 12,276
I mean, the Dany thing isn't a D&D thing. It's very much a GRRM thing. Like it's flagrantly obvious Dany is going down that route in the books as well.
Nsfw 5,494
Jaime probably faking and is gonna go kill Cersei let’s be real like its actually painfully obvious that is what is going to happen

Like it's flagrantly obvious Dany is going down that route in the books as well. I've seen it coming a long time on GRRM's end, but for the show there's no build up no nothing. Just meaningless character death for a "shock factor" that turns her mad. It feels contrived, not natural. It's like they're pointing a finger in our faces "SEE SHE GOES MAD IN THE END, IT ALL COMES TO FULL CIRCLE" and its so eye roll worthy bc her going mad is only the result of stupid decisions that dont normally fit in with the characters. Its hardly tragic if all I can think of is "well, thats dumb" Jaime probably faking and is gonna go kill Cersei let’s be real He probably is gnna kill Cersei based on some spoilers, but like i said...Brienne will still think he left her for Cersei. doki-doki 21,660
Some of the decisions writers have made this season are choices.... but I don't believe Jaime is just going to go back to Cersie. I think something has seriously changed in him. I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up being the reason for her death.

valentinna 14,313
Dany better burn the fuck outta Euron and make him suffer every single second till his heart stops and i hope Arya kills Jaime and uses his face to get into King’s Landing and stab the bitch right in her stomach like Boltons did with Rob’s wife and make her die slowly and painfully

Mephistopheles 1,933
i've hated this show since season 1. george rr martin is already suspiciously into describing preteen and teen girls in a sexual way and hbo's way of dealing with this is.......... to age them up to 18 so they can can depict their rape scenes in explicit nude detail! joy
seulmate 12,182
Leave Jon alone. They don't want to spend money on ghost, it's not his fault. And he has a right to tell his sisters, they sweared to not tell anyone. Blame sansa. And dany already sounded like a mad person when she begged him to not tell anyone lol Anyway all the characters are ruined. I'll pretend that s8 didn't happen
tokpopandbeyond 1,623
Even Martin himself doesn't seem to know how to conclude this story. It has been what? 8 years since the release of 'A dance of dragons'? The very last scene in the book is the stabbing of John Snow in the Wall if I remember correctly. The writers have no book material from that point onwards.

So tired of everyone calling Dany mad for no reason, so far her anger is entirely justifiable. She should have never went to help Jon and just have Westeros turn into wights, even that would have been a better ending.

I have my doubts abt Martin, some ppl say the books will be different some ppl say that D&D are following Martins ending, and I don't care either way bc we will never get those books in the first place. He's too scared to write anything more and doesnt know what to do with his own story anymore, so he's letting 2 incompetent writers ruin the entire legacy of ASOIF for him. LilDdalgi 8,710
Uhh it's pretty obvious what Jamie's real intention is, so I'm not sure why you list that here as a complaint. The things he said to Brienne were so she wouldn't follow him. About Sansa, in the long run, her telling the secret to Tyrion is probably going to be best decision that she has done.
