I live in a medium-sized town but I've heard BTS albums playing at supermarkets at least three times now and there was this one time SuJu's Lo Siento played at a local store, pretty random tbh

To be quite honest, I don't think he knew who BTS is. It felt like one of those Nirvana shirts people were because they know it's cool but they don't really listen to it, which is even more amazing to me.

Last year I also visited a irrelevant/ tiny/ non existent village and saw two girls playing Blood Sweat and Tears. And it's very common to spot someone with BTS logo bag (I'm sure they don't have any clue)

kpop's pretty popular where i'm from i guess. even in the most rural areas there are kpop fans. around 2014, people wearing shirts with bts' old logo and exo's wolf 88 were everywhere.
