wujuprincess 87
i graduated in december, worked a temp job now i'm waiting to get a permanent position at the law firm applied for other positions incase this doesn't end up happening but FUCK job hunting is so mentally and emotionally exhausting. my mom said how she's so shocked how different is it now like i meet them for lunch, do testing (sometimes up to 3 tests) then group interview and 2 solo ones THEN i hear back in 1-2 weeks if i get the job or not, literally 2 month process. my brother got a meteorologist job and it was a 2 month recruitment process plus a month to actually start working im so stressed out and it doesn't help when family members always ask questions about it how was life after graduating for ya'll? junmyeonsnoodle 1,074
It took me around 3 months to find a full-time job after graduation from university (in 2017). It wasn't (isn't) in what I studied in and I don't enjoy it. I am very good at it and see myself moving into management down the road, but sometimes I wonder if I should either waited it out for a something in my focus or gone straight into a post-undergrad program. I know my employer will pay for me to get my master's, but it's obviously have to be in what they wanted-not necessarily what I wanted. That's the main issue with waiting for your work to pay for it
