Seungri Undergoes Police Questioning For Suspicions Of Embezzlement

The police has begun questioning Seungri on suspicions of embezzlement.

On April 10, the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency’s Intellectual Crime Investigation Team revealed that they have been questioning Seungri since 10 a.m. KST regarding suspicions of embezzlement.

A source from the police stated, “Since this is the first time questioning [seungri] on suspicions of embezzlement, we expect the investigation to continue until the evening.â€

Seungri and former Yuri Holdings CEO Yoo In Suk were first booked for embezzling funds from the club Monkey Museum on April 1. The police are investigating the two based on the finding of suspicious cash flow, where a portion of Burning Sun capital has been traced back to Monkey Museum.
 

Furthermore, the police found an instance where a portion of Burning Sun’s capital was traced back to bank accounts under different names, which was later rerouted to personal bank accounts of Seungri. The police suspect that the amount Seungri had supposedly embezzled totals up to 2 billion won (approximately $1,717,730).

 

In addition, Seungri and Yoo In Suk are also accused of using Yuri Holdings funds to pay for legal fees of a former DJ at Monkey Museum who was being investigated for suspicions of sexual assault.

Seungri has been questioned by the police 16 times so far on suspicions including prostitution mediation, embezzlement, sharing of illegal footage, and tax evasion.

huge besides the crimes we know he committed. Every news agency looking for a quick buck and every netizen trying to nail him to the wall has accused him fake or not of every damn crime possible except murder so the investigation has been slowed by one the fact he kept his distance from his crimes making hard to arrest as the evidence so far isn't strong and he could possibly win that in court so they have to keep investigating and questioning plus its slowed by them investigating every damn accusation thrown at him including the fake ones. I know everyone wants him to fry which he will but hamping the investigation with 344555 wild accusations helps nobody

Nothing yet as far as what's been revealed. Some reports said that they were going to apply for "detention warrants" but I believe that was an assumption based on the announcement that the police will end their investigation on Seungri and Yoo In Suk by this week. The police only stated that warrants for an arrest is based on severity of the crimes, risk of fleeing the country, and destruction of evidence.

and that's why he isn't arrested yet because he hasn't done anything himself he watched other people do that without any order from him witnessing a crime and not doing anything about it isn't illegal. Is it ethically wrong hell yeah but legally? Not really thats why so far he isn't in prison he keeps his distance from his crimes so any evidence so far is weak which may not hold in court so they have to keep searching deeper for some serious solid stuff to keep him

It may never had been reported on at all hadn't that guy sangkyo not got his ass beaten to a pulp by burning sun security and later the police,as he broke the scandal first, why i say it wouldn't have happened? Because the fact the reporters evidence was kept on ice for nearly 5yrs it was evidence discovered in 2015 by a computer repairman fixing a celebrity phone, I still wonder why all of that was kept hushed until now.
