i currently have a 62% (D) for trig/pre-calc....... the first week was easy but i got a 0 on the graphing section due to not having enough time to finish it.... even if i do manage to get a C+ for that class, the teacher, who is also the AP calc teacher, does not recommend students to take AP Calc if they get a C. ... The only reason why i signed up for this class was to take AP calc for my junior year... .:///// sigh

note: i have 4 weeks left...

should i just drop and take trig for my junior year???? my cuz told me to take trig  nxt year b/c i'll  forget all my calc 1  stuff when i take the math placement test....

I don't think so, just keep working on it.

Even if it's not recommended, to take Cal after getting a C in preCal, it is doable. Also, if you pass your Pre-cal class you'll actually have plenty of time for your Cal class since it won't be in the summer. Summer classes are fast passed, normal school year classes are not. If you find yourself struggling in Cal during the school year, you'll have the luxury of taking your time to really study and understand it. You don't have that luxury in the summer.

Also, if you see yourself doing something dealing with a lot of math courses in the future, college, since I'm assuming your in high school, I would say take it since it'll be one less class you have to take later on, if not, don't even bother with it. Don't stress yourself out over something you don't need to do.
