Fans are letting go of Yoochun.

On April 30, Yoochun's fans shared the final letter on the online fan community DC Inside. The letter was posted after the star ultimately confessed to his crime. The letter reads as follows:

"'Look up at the sky. I will be praying for you.'

This was the desperate cry from a fan at his press conference. But he ultimately left behind a lonely pain to us. When did his memories start becoming a pain in our hearts... When was it that we could no longer cheer for his life...

Why are we just coming to realize that a star and a fan cannot mix because they are like water and oil. We have gone around and around a long path, and finally seeing the thorny path at the final destination.

We did not know. We believed we could support him forever. 'I was afraid to let go of myself.' These words he said, we can now feel because we were also afraid to let go of him...

But now, it's time for us to walk our separate paths so we will let go of his hand. We hope he reflects on himself until he can let go of all the weight in his heart on his own."

Prior to Yoochun's confession, his fans demanded another round of drug tests.

Lol... I remember reading a letter like this on a Vietnamese news website... That was when Yoochun announced his engagement. I was like 0u0plz.png , he was involved in rape accusation but the girls didn't cancel him for that, but his engagement made them say goodbye to him as "Good bye my first love, my youth memories..." unimpressed.png

i feel some sympathy for fans because they essentially wasted all this time supporting a disgusting piece of shit but i don't think the letter should've been this cute. they don't have to be angry but they could've at least been more apprehensive, this just sounds like a peaceful farewell, like he's retiring for normal reasons.

Wow it's so different with me. The first time i heard about his rape accusations, it was all curses coming out from my mouth. Even though it was hard because I followed and supported him for years too. In the end he's still a role model but in a different way that I should never be a man like him.

Same for me. He was my bias for years and when I heard about the accusations I couldn’t look at him the same.... people process information differently. I guess it took this mess for them to open their eyes..

I think it's kinda wrong to judge the fans for the way this was written. People deal with things differently. Just let them express it however they want. They aren't choosing to support him anymore. Who cares how they said it and it's better late than never. Can't say the same for others still supporting criminals.

The truth, I ain't a fan of shaming ex-fans at all either, at least they are unstanning. meanwhile some on twitter are still on his defending him and making consprisy theroies about how he's a victim blah blah blah.

As a VIP I was in thier postion about a month ago, The confession is I was in denial  for a week until sungerishit retired and it was proven that he may have been involved and that's when it hit me a lot.

It also taught me that It's okay to drop a criminal idol and not worry what ot__/"we love all members, if you hate a member you ain't a fan" type stans stans think. most of them btw have akgae like behaviors, there's members that they will never cape for as hard as thier fave and even throw other members under the bus if they dare not support them. And i feel pretty much better that i unstanned him.
