Where do you think fans come from and what platform did you discover kpop?

For some reason I think the fine brothers had a lot to do with getting more kpop fans.

that was actually how i got into bts, i watched the reaction to DOPE and immediately stanned

i had discovered kpop a while before that though but i wasnt interested in groups besides beast, but fine bros definitely made me check out more group

Asian dramas did so much spreading the hallyu wave

Boys over Flowers itself was just hugeeeee and is the reason I personally became interested in Hallyu

i discovered it because of two of my friends. one was a SONE and the other was an ARMY. they showed me a few videos from their favorite groups and i pretended to hate it. then i "ironically" learned a groups' members names and "ironically" watched their videos all the time and "ironically" talked about them constantly. eventually i stopped being in denial and now my two friends aren't even into kpop that much anymore but i'm still here lmaoo

Youtube. Like, I knew kpop existed since I watched some fine bros or buzzfeed videos in 2015/16, but I only got into it in late 2016, coz my classmates were dancing to Block B's Her during PE and it got stuck in my head (let's thank the animal costumes dance practice, I would never ask them about the title and finding it otherwise would be hard lol)

I found it thru youtube, specifically while i was into anime and watching Vocaloid videos. One of the sides of the vids had "Darling" by Girl's Day so I'm p sure that youtube but also an interest in anime also kinda makes kpop fans.

Youtube tbh

I don't know, my first encounter with Kpop was BigBang Lies, i was a Koda Kumi fan back then so i was watching videos of her and i saw BigBang Lies on the recomendation list.

For a quite long time i thought BigBang was a japanese Group as i knew nothing about Korea lol
