Article: Park Yoochun denies charges in first investigation in jail

Source: Yonhap News via Nate

1. [+426, -12] What is he trying to pull here? Is he going to claim he has a mental illness to try and get out into a mental hospital than jail?

2. [+397, -12] I feel like he's living in a fantasy world

3. [+332, -14] There's blatant evidence right in front of him, does he not realize that denying it for no reason will result in a heavier sentence? More years in jail... Just admit it and say you tried the drug out of curiosity.. You'll get a lesser sentence.

4. [+23, -2] Crazy ba$tard... it's all over for you, what are you trying to deny? You're the one who went around picking every stupid thing to do and now all that's coming out of that mouth are lies.

5. [+22, -6] Now I'm really curious what his reason for denying everything is..

6. [+19, -1] So is Seungri's scandal just going to be buried like this?

7. [+18, -8] The fact that he keeps denying it when evidence is all out there means he's either sick in the head or Hwang Hana set this whole thing up;;;

8. [+18, -3] He's denying it because he knows his stupid fangirls will believe him and continue being his ATM

9. [+13, -2] Wow, what a ba$tard. If he was going to get 5 years in jail, make it 10.

10. [+8, -2] He was caught on CCTV depositing the money, picking up the drug, and even testing positive for it. It's terrible of him to still be denying everything and he deserves to be penalized harder for it.

1. [+432, -30] You are so consistent, aren't you. He got away last time with his s*x assault scandal by claiming he didn't know the entire time and now he's trying to use the same tactic but there's just too much evidence against him. The judge better penalize him harder for this.

2. [+169, -26] I'm almost feeling bad for him because it seems like he needs a psychiatric evaluation ã… ã…

3. [+137, -13] He's just trash

4. [+58, -0] Then why'd you shave your body?? You knew you were going to take a drug test so why'd you shave your body?? You wouldn't have died if you postponed it for a few days. If you were so 100% sure you were innocent, then you wouldn't have shaved your body before a drug test. You would've left enough hair for the drug test to take. There's no better clarification than that. You knew you had something to hide so that's why you shaved your body ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹

5. [+59, -8] According to experts, they think Park Yoochun shaved his body and took a private drug test that came back negative so he was sure that he wouldn't get caught, which is why he held that press conference. It wasn't until NISI administered the drug test that he got caught.

Good job Seungri, you set a precedent. Now anyone violating the laws out there will think that he/she can just deny it until it goes away 0u0plz.png

Ok one thing I just cannot comprehend is why ppl want him to vehemently go to jail. Drugs are bad but drug addicts need HELP not be put in jail. Drug addicts are most harmful to themselves.

Korea has a very strong stance on drug abuse. I think the whole nation has been conditioned to see drug addicts as mere criminals and nothing more than that. I don't defend these Koreans' opinions nor oppose them either, because it's part of their laws that drugs are illegal. I do hope though that he gets the help he needs even if he ends up in jail.

People want him in jail not just because he took drugs but because of his past rape scandal too.

the way I see it is being a crack head deserves far severe punishment than his abuse and rape. Which is kind of messed up.

I get what you mean but you might want to fix your wording because it sounds like [you] think him doing drugs is worse than his rape scandal.

I ask me why not more celebs use the "I will explain everything in September" lie.

Nope, not all of drug users started out because they had health or mental problem. Some are too rich so they use drug for fun and look down on the law.

Which is the case of Yoochun and he should be jailed.

What sort of mentality is this. I didn’t say they had to have mental problems. Alcoholics or drug addicts or anyone addicted to something needs help. The fact that they are addicted of itself is a problem. This is the very basis on the war of drugs. If you care to read any of the recent studies, the best way to reduce drug is to legalize them and help ppl who are addicted. But any way that’s a conversation for another day.

To put it simply, he broke the law.

Lots of things used to be ‘against the law’ doesn’t make it right.

I agree, it's messed up but it's the only way to get Yoochun in jail

Sending someone to jail for the right reason is as important as actually sending someone to jail. It sets precedence.

Some countries punish drug cases heavily(some include death penalty) to discourage people from even thinking of trying drug.

I think Korea is one of them.

So celebrity will be punished more since they are more visible and will be more effective as deterrent.

Personally I think Korea should try to control their alcohol also. TV/movies regularly promote excessive alcohol drinking.
