Taylor Swift's "Me!" got somewhere between 55-57M views in its first 24 hours, it "might" be enough at second best M/V after BTS' "Boy With Luv".

This song is so cheesy and optimistic, I love it. I'm a bit surprised she got this much, since so many people are saying she's washed up because she's not as trendy with the GP as Ariana.

She may never release an album as good as Red, but w/e it was a good mv and a fun song.

we still have to wait for youtube to confirm. who knows they might just add 30M views

They always will. Despite deleting views from the final 24 hour count for BTS, they'll always add views on top of it for other acts even if they deleted some views from them within the 24-hour period.

That’s just dumb bitches talking shit!

Taylor always has been be more popular than Ariana! How could Taylor be washed up when she still sells 1M+ first week and have SOLD OUT stadium tours for an album she didn’t even promote! While Ariana is struggling to sell out her arenas!

Let me clarify.. I was talking about her last tour (Dangerous Woman World Tour) not this current tour. Put all of her dates still have a lot of resale tickets available

Well I don't know which tour you're talking abt, I never follow her lol, thats why I'm asking for the link. I'm just surprised, an artist at her level actually struggling to sell out US arenas.

Ariana has been considered the girl on top since the success of Thank U, Next and 7 Rings. When you get 2 back to back massive hits like that, it changes things. Her streaming numbers are strong. Meanwhile LWYMMD was kind of hated for all its youtube success, End Game didn't do as well as she wanted, Delicate did bad (still on my playlist, people have no taste smh)...she wants a hit, this song was released with every intention for it to be the song of the summer. We'll see I guess. Also, I love both Ariana and Taylor so much, I don't think either are flops in anything. Taylor just needs another major smash hit right now.

I personally can't wait to watch the BBMAS, Taylor and my boys + Halsey all performing on the same show.

Taylor Swift is still bigger. Reputation sold 4 million worldwide, Ariana hasn't hit a million yet. and her digitals are bigger.

Well Ariana holds the Spotify record with 15 million streams for 7 Rings in 24 hours. She's also the first woman to hit 2 billion streams with three different albums. Of course Taylor had that whole fight with Spotify before coming back to the service before Reputation dropped, but we can't deny Ariana is a streaming giant in the streaming age.

I'm not talking about fanbases or touring or physical album sales, these things are all a bit wrapped together. I'm talking about public perception, like the general public. I hope 'Me!' kills it even with all the talk I see, that's all I'm saying.

reputation was released in 2017, thank you, next is two months old and it already went platinum in us (so it sold over a milion)
